Ran into a provider at her job, Advice?

My brother in law had bypass surgery this week I went to see him with my wife and mother in law. He is banged up and the hospital called us in complications they said. We get up to his room and his nurse is in there. I walk in with my wife and mother in law bawling. His nurse turns around and its someone I know. This is a provider I see I knew she had a day gig I knew it was in the medical field but I didnt know where. She held her composure fuck if I know how. I wanted to bolt. The problem is she had a name tag on I now know her whole name I dont care but I think she will. What should I do? Should I call her and put the shit on the table? She knew my name when she screened me no big deal on  my end but I dont want to stop seeing this girl Did this permanently fuck it up? This girl smoked everyone else in my eyes before, now seeing her in her gig I am on overdrive. Whats the best way to approach her she is cool to talk to but super careful. I dont want to screw this up any advice? Thanks

Go see her and tell her what a shocker that was seeing her.You think it was hot seeing her knowing her dirty little secret.I think that is cool as hell btw.I am sure she is far more concerned about you knowing about her then vs versa.

I would't mock her. I knew she was in the medical field. I thought she was the girl helping the nurses or the ones that do the blood tests. I didnt know she was a real nurse. I would have warned her if I knew she was that kind of nurse in that hospital. I was in awe watching her. She was awesome. This makes me want her more I know I am a dick but it was hot! She might be freaked out meeting my wife and mother in law wtf? I took your advice and emailed her. I have to go back in to see my brother in law included it in the email to warn her. WTF of all the hospitals. Thanks for your advice wish me luck. This hottie I would sorely miss if she disappears.

If she reads these boards and sees how creepy you are reacting to this she probably won't want to see you and also would request a transfer to another floor or unit within the hospital.

Cardinal rule.
You see a provide outside the bedroom in her real life or real job.  You play dumb.  You never mention it and most of all, you don't post shit on a public board to drag her into it and embarrass her.

If I were you I would delete this thread ASAP.  You may have already irrevocably  damaged the situation

Don't post here that you know a provider's real name and place of employment. This information is best kept between you and her...  If she is regular on TER and see this, doubtful she will be seeing you again. Should have kept it discreet and  just email mailed her about the situation. I'm sure she would understand.  Probably not the first time this has happen to her and She held her composure because she is a true professional. What else was she going to do? tell your wife about your last rendezvous?  

I once had a provider tell me she brought her child into the hospital for a broken arm, the attending physician that day was a client of hers. She allowed him to care for the child and neither said a word

What, are you in middle school? You respect her privacy by...

saying nothing, doing nothing and pretending like nothing happened. If she brings it up when you next see her, then fine. Everything about her private life is handled at her choice and at her discretion.

I understand your enthusiasm (you are not the only one this kind of thing has ever happened to), but you've really got to tone down your hormones... it is definitely edging into the  creepy zone. I'll reiterate the advice an earlier poster gave you: ask TER to pull this thread.

Don't Say Anything

I would not mock her or give her shit. she might take it the wrong way. I would not say anything. If you want to see her again see if she brings it up and if she doesn't it means she would not want you to bring it up either. If that is how she handles it than you should do the same and not bring it up . If she does bring it up then you can tell her what you were feeling.  

but regardless respect her privacy as you would want her to respect yours

The cat is out of the bag. Now that you have already emailed her. I would just reassure her that you will be discreet and thank her for being so professional at the hospital. If I was you I might bring her a box of chocolates or a bath set as a "thank you" the next time you see her just to ease her mind.

I ran into the same situation years ago kind of. I had a new client come to see me and I screened him no problem. A bit after he arrived to see me he said I  "know you." I playfully said while laying next to him "oh do you? How so?" He said "I went to high school with you and your brother?" Wtf! I almost shit myself. I went to 4 different high schools and had a close group of friends only, so I didn't remember him. I only went to the same high school with my brother my freshmen year so my mind was racing because I had no idea who he was and if he still knew my brother or family. He told me he was 50lbs heavier and at least a foot shorter and I probably didn't recognize him because he was a loner. He did tell me he used to sat behind me in one of my classes and I was always nice to him when the other kids teased him and that he had the biggest crush on me. So, seeing that we were already laying there I just took it in stride because he was a genuinely polite and a sweet guy. He became a regular of mine but I ALLOWED him to be because he was discreet and was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Keep in mind I said he was discreet!  

Best of luck and personally I don't see anything wrong with you posting for advice on here because you just described the situation but did not mention where she worked her name or even what town the hospital was in

Trust me there are worst situations.....

She is a professional and handled it correctly. You did as well. She told her what field she was in so it wasn't a secret. Just don't post where she works and her real name. If she wants to continue seeing you great. If not, move on.

I've had a client's wife email me and I had to work with both my client and his wife for a project. Now that's awkward. I had to meet them at their home on numerous occasions. I was professional about the whole thing and still saw my client. But that's a part of the territory.....hobbying and civilian life. It's a risk we all take.

I've had another situation where I was dancing at a private event and one of the gentlemen at the party was my college professor. Lets just say I passed all his classes:-)

there is two sides to that coin.  she is probably  thinking i never ever want to see this guy again.  to dangerous to see this guy   what if the wife and mother in law picked up on anything or any vibes  this could ruin the marriage and his brothers health.  Probably walk away from being his nurse to save face.

Agreed, we all have personal lives and that can include work- At work we already have to lie frequently about our lifestyle, etc. If you don't say anything or say very little she'll respect you more. Your reaction implies that you find it outrageous that someone you've seen in a private setting also has a personal life- again, we all do. I have ran into a client at work before and we maintained our composure- now we still see one another!

I understand your point and would like to clarify

I felt there were a lot of things going on in the OP.
First the question of ... I saw a provider in her real job what do I do how do I handle that?..

That question is a valid one but one that could have been asked in a generic way without detailing the medical background the how and why and possibly exposing this woman and compromising her anonymity.   In my eyes this was kin to a hobbist saying what hotel he he saw so and so...   You just don't need to be that detailed.    

Second there was the issue about how to react when that happens.  To that my response is you play dumb, you act normal to the point you don't do anything to indicate a prior awareness of each other.

As to whether you say anything to the lady I will defer to the responses of the woman who have posted here.  They have said how they would feel and what they would hope happens in those situations and they are uniquely qualified to offer opinions on what to do, where I am not.

Finally to the suggestion the post be removed, I felt the OP was borderline creepy and I can only imagine what the provider in question would think and feel if she were to read this thread.  He may be burning his bridges not only with her but others who read this and may not want to engage an appointment with him based upon what was written.   I've been PM'd by several who also felt that removing the thread for varied reasons was in both parities best interest.  

I hope all parties involved don't have negative repercussions from the event

I read your comments and pm's thanks for the advice. I didn't think posting a thread was out of line . I wouldn't say her name or where she works. Sounds like I came across as creepy because I dig the girl. I am not an asshole I know the limits. It blows when you find a good one and they leave. That's all I meant. I am still licking my wounds from Paige Lynn disappearing. I keep reading threads about Lilly. She was another one I dug and disappeared. I don't want this one to leave or be jacked up worried. She is really careful to begin with and I didn't want my running into her to screw shit up. I emailed her warned her I had to go bacjk in to see my brother in law. I didn't see her again he was moved into a different part of the hospital. He is doing better now tahnks for the pm's. If the hot nurse herself is reading this I didn't mean to be disrespectful by posting a thread I would never compromise your safety and you know that. Come on call me! I make my living keeping secrets for clients. Yours is no different I am sworn to confidentiality! Thanks for the advice and pm's on here I got my balls kicked in but I get the point.

PS- It's so late and I know many may not see this but can we please have a provider hang sesh in the near future? I have met three of my closest friends online through the hobby. I guess from some unlogical assumptions I always expect the women I meet to act better than me, yet they have consistently been totally cool and sweethearts. Email me !!! ^.^
