He is the third singer, after Warren Zevon and Johnny Cash, to pass away in the last month. Like the others, we still have their music and literature.

Have a special place in my soul for Robert Palmer for having recorded "Addicted to Love."  When I heard it as I was driving to an appointment today, I realized (for the umpteenth time) that it captures the spirit of what drives me to this zany hobby...
