please excuse yourself to the bathroom to wash up and leave it there instead. otherwise, there is no way for her to discreetly check to see if someone is stiffing her or not. it happens. let's each do our part to makes things comfortable. =)
I have always found the most discreet way to complete that exchange is to ask to use the facilities and non challantly put the envelope down during that vocal exchange, so she sees you putting down as you speak. Also, don't seal the envelope. Make it easy for her to take a quick look and put the envelope away while you wash up.
Oh, and don't drop any dueces in the bathroom, it kills the mood!

Ladies its not a good idea for them to leave it in the bathroom I case the guy is a creep or bad news. Never leave a client alone in your room especially in the beginning of the date. They come out still dressed, you go in to count the money, could be an envelope full of paper, meanwhile they are running out the door with your phone or laptop. This has happened. I had a girl take the envelpoe while I was in the bathroom. She then hid it. At the end of our time together( which was sub-par) she claimed I didn't leave it and demanded i pay her. It mysteriously turned up under her pillow after a few mins of us arguing. So for me, I don't mind if she counts the money in front of me.
I always leave envelope on dresser or desk in plain sight and then excuse myself to "wash up." Typically I'll run in for a quick shower anyway so I never leave the envelope in the bathroom.
Why ruin the fantasy? I've been seeing envelopes with exactly 300 or 550 in it long enough to be able to recognize it by weight, sight or just a tap for thickness. It's not foolproof I'm sure. I usually don't even bother to check it, I've never had an issue. Good filtering and checking your references will keep out habitual offenders. When I do get someone who has a history of it, I ask for full or partial deposit and they move on.
I've been at this since '05 and have seen RSG quite a lot and I haven't heard this method before? Typically I enter, we hug, kiss, enter the room and chat and I will discreetly place it on the dresser or TV table so she sees me and away we go. Once in a while someone will put it right away and rarely someone will count it.
Doesn't bother me if they do, I know they have to protect themselves and I don't take it personally.
Keep annemptynheineken bottle on dresser an if they do try n short change you....... Well at least show the, just how angry this has made you. That is an option. Too
