Bond films were never meant to be taken too seriously. The cheesy lines and wacky vilians are part of the fun. IMO Casino Royale is a home run. Worth watching just for the opening foot chase. I really fell for the girl. I thought the one with Lazenby was under-rated. Diana Rigg-not a bad catch. I found it to be quite entertaining. You can see a lot of Austin Powers in this one. GoldenEye, The first Brosnan picture was fantastic. All the other PB films were to unreal-lacking in so many ways. It wasn't PB's fault. I think the good girl was from Boston.

..it STILL sucks. Hated the cheesy ref to "Goldfinger" yuk. Connery was good yes...before the films started going downhill. "Casino Royale" was a departure from the nonsense they had become, going back to Basics. Connery and Craig are the only 2 that have managed to pull off being both humane whilst having the (believable) quality of the ability to kill. Brosnan, Lazenby and Moore were all shocking. Apparently, Bond is best when he's either Scottish or Welsh *smile*
My favorite name for a bond girl is, of course, Pussy Galore!
Something about her name reminds me of certain ladies I have been fortunate enough to meet in this hobby. (Although, regrettably, I cannot place my finger on it right now...)
