Are any hotels lax in enforcing the restrictions that Governor Baker put in place? The Holiday Inn in Woburn seems very casual about the restrictions...as in not caring.
I paid a visit at the Marriott in Newton on Comm Ave. Not a good experience. First, I had to pay for parking, and I had to use a credit card to exit (Note to self, carry a no-name debit card in the car). Second I was grilled by the front desk person on my way in, so much so that I returned to my car. The lady agreed to meet me in the lobby, which I did, and I was accompanied into the elevator and up. The front desk person eyeballed us the whole time. But on the way out, I encountered no one.
at one of their properties and the mail said they would not be open until June 26. They automatically cancelled it, I didn't. I love to stay in the city so I'd love to know if I could make a reservation mid June in the city. Also I called another property in the Bonvoy family I love to stay with, and they are closed until further notice.
I'm based in North Carolina, so I'd be flying in. Don't know if that poses a problem, but I can't fly in and be turned away. Steph XO
