I've seen Angel Ann at one of her house incalls. I did catch a 'teensy' glimpse of her husband watching television as we walked by, but he won't move unless there is a problem. I gave her no reason to worry, so he was 'out of sight & out of mind'.

All of us here at Boston's Beauties are saddened and express our sincere condolences to her family, friends and her co-workers. This was a horrible crime and we are glad they caught the man who did it.
This is an important reminder for everyone that VERIFICATION and staying AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS at all times is so very important.
You can read the story from Channel 4 (WBZ) on the link attatched to this post.
Be careful ladies...

As you wrote Beth, this reminds us how important the verification process is for the ladies. What makes this story more scarey was that it occurred during an Outcall appointment.
Please guys, understand why we ask you to submit to our verification process. Please ladies, don't compromise your safety by cutting corners in the verification process.
Our hearts go out to this young woman and to those that she left behind.
Warm regards,
Tanya

That's horrible. Does anyone know who she is or what name she went by ? As a Brockton area resident myself, I'm especially saddened. This city gets a very bad rap.
But let me ask you, do you think Kendra DIDN'T verify this monster ? Can we really assume that a verification is fool-proof ? I firmly believe that this was the exception, not the rule, and the vast majority of providers and hobbyists are trust worthy.
Please everyone be careful out there
Dear Bostoneater,
"But let me ask you, do you think Kendra DIDN'T verify this monster ?"
There is no indication either way. I would assume she DID.
"Can we really assume that a verification is fool-proof ?"
Of course we never do.
What called my attention on the news is that:
1. She went to Brady's home Wednesday night.
2. She was killed between 10:30PM Wednesday and sometime Thursday morning.
3. Bryson's mother and sister reported her missing Thursday night.
Unless the client was a regular and the call was scheduled to be an overnighter, the agency should be on her tracks just after she failed to report that she left! This is not the first time I read news like this and in all cases, without exception, the agency was not aware or was not doing anything many hours *after* the call was supposed to end.
It means that for many people security ends at the screening, while in fact security concerns from the point of view of the agency should end when they get a confirmation that the lady in on her way home.
Sorry to go into technicalities right on the same thread, but I thought it was important to bring some light to this point at an early stage of this discussion.
Best regards,
Milton
P.S.: When I wrote agency I mean either an agency or whoever is taking care of her if she is an independent.

Thanks for the reminder on verification and follow-up by the agency or a friend. Especially the confrmation call after the appointment.
I wish providers would post info about their privacy and security precautions on their website. I'm sure most hobbiests wouldn't care, but I'll bet the majority here on TER (the frequent fliers) would feel better about selecting providers who are careful and some might only book with women who are careful. It'd be like a Good Housekeeping seal.
Anyway, this was awful news. My sincere condolences to her friends and family.
I know a lot of you guys do not like the way I verify clients because I not only ask for provider Ref's for my incall I want full home and work info also. I live in and have my incall out of my residence in Marlborough, the very city where this other killer that is still out there has killed escorts in the past.Even though you guys don't see him when you come over, I also make sure my husband is in the house when I conduct incall service. I must think of my safety first. That is also why I only see a slect few for incall, you must be over 35 and pref. married and a professional and known to this hobby community with reviews on known independent providers.
Every week I have to turn away clients for incall because they just can not provide the verification info. that I need to have them over for a incall session. Plus the reason why I stress that you must book at least 2 days in advance for incall is because we have to prepair the whole house and incall room just for one client.
I feel so sorry for this young girl that was killed. If only she carried a small can of pepper spray and a long hat pin when she went to this guys home she may have gotten out with her life.
Also let us not forget about BD13 and the incall hotels. Your not even fully safe doing incall out of a hotel.
No one is ever fully safe in this business no matter what we do.But we can help by fully verifying clients and also letting people know where we are going, who we are seeing and what time we are expected to be there and what time we are leaving. And CALL again your contact person when you are safe in your car after your outcall session or when the client leaves your incall session.

Hi Shy_N-Jewish . Glad to see your still around on the boards.
As for the TV watching husband we have since though it best that he should watch TV some where other then where clients may catch a "teensy" glimpse of him while walking by. ![]()
I have to say that hubby watching TV doesnt both me, but I understand what is probably in the mind of the gentleman who replied Creepy. It goes hand in hand with one of your requirements about being known to this community, and because you are known to me, I would feel comfortable with YOU in that setting, and I have no problems with verification and the purpose behind it, as this tragedy makes so vividly clear. And I can meet the age and marital status requirement, and now do have a reference. I also understand a fully subscribe to what I have seen preached many times that if I am not comfortable with a ladies requirements, then I just need to write her off and move on. Now, as much as I respect you, I can not risk giving home information out. No problem with employment. And, I dont believe my employment would fit the professional status as I am more in middle management. Therefore, you and I will likely not make each others acquaintance. But that is OK, because as this tragedy shows, you need to assure your safety first and foremost. Now, that I have had the pleasure of one ladies company, and have others who, from various conversations, are comfortable seeing me who have verification methods more consistent with what I am comfortable with, I can live another day to indulge again. This poor gal obviously can not, and we dont know what, if any verification process she used.
Play safe my dear......OMR
I was reading your post about the virus on your email addy. I get spammed everyday on my Yahoo accounts with virus attachments to emails of known providers in the biz and clients also...AND sometimes I even get a email virus attachment on my email account from one of my own email addy's. Hackers have nothing better to do then to scan message boards and use email addresses to attach viruses to to send out. I never open any email even from someone I know when it has an attachment to it.I've learned just by the heading of the email which ones are real and which ones are virus attachments. I wouldn't worry about it so much. You probably already have a fire wall on your computer to help prevent hackers from getting into your files.I suggest getting a free email address from Yahoo. Yahoo has Norton protection on it and sends all spam and virus emails to your bulk file. Also I never keep email addresses in an address folder on my email accounts. Hackers go right into your adderss folders to get email addresses.BTW I like your email addy oldlamplighter2002 It reminds me of the old lamplighter strip club in Worcester Ma. did you ever go there years ago?
As for verification of clients... Known clients like your self of known message forums like TER who have seen and have reviews on known ladies I don't worry about to much. TER is great for checking clients on. I can just check clients reviews by using their user name and then just check their work info. to verify them. It really pays to become a known user of a known message forum like TER and to post a lot on the boards.
Creepy seeing husband watching TV,yeah I can understand how some clients might feel about that. Thats why we now keep the husband out of site while doing incalls. But you have to understand that in order to be safe while doing incalls out of your residence a provider should have someone else male or female at the residence at all times. A provider should never be alone in her home or apt. while doing incall. I read on another message board some time ago that a girl from a different state got killed while doing incall out of her home. Even when I have my girlfriend Lady Lucille over for incall I'm always around when she's seeing clients. Even doing incall in a hotel a provider should have someone in the area close by to keep watch over her.Let us not forget about BD13 and what happen to those poor girls in the Boston hotels.
I agree with you on the virus thing and how you handle email attachments, and yahoo. Never been to that club you spoke of. Oldelamplighter came from an old song from back in the 40s of the same name. I hope that the thing about board presence will work in my favor should I get down in your neck of the woods. I would love one day to make your personal acquaintance. Play safe, sweetie......OMR
Thanks OMR. Hey I think I even told you one time in one of our backchannels that if your ever around in my area to give a call.I would love to even just meet you for some coffee or a drink and some friendly chat sometime on the house. That invitation is still open. ![]()
Thank you hon.....you can bet I shall keep that in mind...OMR
No,actually I think my husband is kind of cute...hehe! ![]()
according to this article, her and a friend did have a safety system in place (using hourly phone checks)
http://www.theunionleader.com/articles_showfast.html?article=39070
and oddly enough, it was her cellphone which electronically broadcasted her location (even after her death)
http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/3409563/detail.html
very sad and tragic ... NEVER go out on a job (even with a regular) without a can of pepper spray handy (they come minaturized and wearable as jewelry even, so they're always on your body)
Thank you for posting this on TER Boston! My condolences to this young lady who was robbed of her life!!! I am deeply saddened by this !
Pepper spray is really good to have and I feel that every provider should carry a can with her while on calls. BUT,in Ma. you can not even carry a can of pepper spray with out a fire arms permit. If you do not have a permit to carry and you have a can of pepper spray and use it on someone you can get up to 21/2 years in jail for it. Sad but true.
my sympathy to the family I know I am goingto be extra careful as this will have repurcussions
