The simple answer:  Shit happens.

A gal makes plans and then something comes up in her personal life that takes precedence and she has to ignore all the entreaties that flow into her in-box.

Just chalk it up to the craziness of the hobby and move on.

Have you had this experience?  A gorgeous provider posts an ad.  She never answers the phone or responds to messages.  Her mailbox rapidly fills up and doesn't acept new messages.  She doesn't respond to texts.  Why would a provider waste $ on an ad if she doesn't want to connect with people?  Is it a scam?  What's the point?

I ask myself that same question everday only its two different scenario's.

Why would a provider go to the trouble of filling out my employment application, attach pictures and in the comments state she really needs to work asap. I email her back the second my computer says "you've got mail" I get no responce. ( did she fill out the app then within a minute or two turn her computer or phone off?   I Call the number she put on the app and it either goes straight to vm or the mailbox is full or its been disconnected. I send a text and nothing!  This is not a one time thing btw, it happens regularly.

The second one is my girls who are already working with me, out of town girls call or send a text they want to work, we make flight or train reservations, I talk to them the night before confirming their arrival and when we go the the airport to get them, they are not there, their phones are off and emails bounce back. Local girls call and say can I please work tomorrow, my rent is due or my electric bill or what have you. Guess what they never answer their phone or text and never show up for work that day. Of course I always get some excuse that night and they work the following day only to do that exact same thing the very next week!

I have learned that this is just the nature of this business. This is the reason that most (not all) girls who are in this line of work could never hold down a civi job. They would be fired within a few days.

I may be wrong but I think what generally is taking place is that many providers who prefer to work for agencies get in touch with several of them at once then pick one and ignore the others. Also, many of those who this work this are impulsive by definition and change their mind on hourly basis, let alone daily ones.  

There are 50,000 possible scenarios. A girl had a bad experience as an independent, she decides to work for the agency, then calms down and all the reasons why she didn't work for the agency in the first place come back to the surface. She first decided to go to Boston but went to Miami instead or have kissed and made up with her boy-friend and decided to stay put or thought about getting situated in new environment and decided "nah"  

I was in touch with a Boston provider that couple of years ago moved to Vegas. At some point she began complaining profusely about her life there saying that she wants to return if anyone were only get her a ticket. I placed a holler on USG - "hey remember her? anybody wants to buy her a ticket?". So some hobbyist actually goes out and does. He later said she seemed so excited and grateful. When the time came he went to pick her up at the airport and guess what? Right. As of mid-Nov she was still advertising on Vegas backpage.  

Who knows!

One of my ATF's who visits Boston says that when she posts an ad on Backpage her phone rings "off the hook" for the next few hours after the post goes up.  With a large number or calls coming in within a short time, I would not be surpised if some go unanswered.
