I was visiting the Park Plaza hotel today and now the Elevators need a room card to go to any floor!

Often, we see posts on this board about where to stay. He just informed us that this specific hotel does not allow unfettered access to upper floors.

Seems useful & pertinent info to me...

The elevators have needed room keys for some time now . . . several months, if not a year.

It's easy enough to get on the elevator at the same time as somebody else, and then to get off on their floor, or to press a button for a different floor.  I've used the stairs, too.

And of course, you can always ask the lady to meet you down in the lobby.  Just send her a text when you actually arrive

I went to see an out of town provider and neither of us new this was the case. She asked me to wait at the elevator bank. When she popped out she was dressed to kill and I felt the many people in the lobby new what was going on. I would not go through this again unless other arrangements were made.

Sorry OP, didn't mean to come off as so harsh. It's just that we shouldn't name specific hotels on the TER boards. They are monitored and naming hotels puts girls in danger. Like we never use a hotel that's been named on the boards.

But I apologize for sounding like I did.

PSA or not it's common sense to not name specific hotels.  Anybody who's been in the hobby for a while has had to deal with elevators that require key cards.  It's not that big of a deal.

That's a great hotel. It's too bad that key cards are required now. The views in the evening are beautiful from the higher floors.
Maybe we can enjoy the views together some night.
Thanks for the heads up sweetie.
Sweet dreams,
Jenna xoxo
