Hey,
I want to come to Boston this week
But I'm not sure of what area to stay in
There seem to be quite a few good and bad areas

What would some of the recommended
Not LE Heavy areas of Boston

Thank you all in advance.

have seen more LE activity of late than years earlier, most likely because our Atty General hasn't gotten much lately.

But in any case, the town north of Boston, especially Woburn, are notorious for LE activity, so avoid them.

In general you should be OK if you screen carefully and use discretion.

Can't help with specifics. And I'm not sure if you're asking about the region around Boston (mrfisher's reply) or the City of Boston itself.
.
If the latter, you've given me the chance to post a Boston Neighborhood Map again. "Back Bay" (big yellow region) has many hotels and is very popular with tourists and others.  "Copley Square" is a smaller section (not shown on the map) inside of Back Bay.

I actually chose something in Waltham
a fellow provider warned me of traffic
so Waltham was already in my mind
it seems to be not too far out of the city
a nice large place where I can get a lil lost in during off times.
Thank you all for the responses!

Every place can be a hot spot if you're not careful. Burlington Marriott has a large lobby and no one is ever noticed coming and going . It's right off 128 with easy access . Waltham the Westin is another easy in and out. I never go into Boston bye to traffic and parking . Good luck.
