Most guys here do this with enough frequency that they have several references.
It would seem that some use the most visible name over and over and over again.  Be courteous and refrain from using a reference for more than six months.  If you don't do it often or want a popular provider to vouch for you just get her to assign Date-Check or a White Listing for you.
