Why can't we edit our posts anymore? I've noticed several of my last posts have lost the ability to edit.

Not that I care, but I need to keep a mental note this is a 4ever post.

Now it's only about two hours.

Not only that, but if you do edit your post, it's moderated for a couple of hours.

I wish they would go back to the previous system.

Not only that if you use an alias you cannot edit at all.

Who decided to change it?

and everybody got moderated no matter who you were.

Then after that outcry, they started to unmoderate people but the new edit policies came about.

Supposedly, moderated people were abusing the edit feature by posting a non-offensive post.  The post would go up, and then they would go back and edit it in a way that would have gotten it banned during the moderation process.

I can understand that maybe the editing of posts by moderated people makes some sense, but why moderate the edited posts of unmoderated people?

It doesn't make sense except perhaps the software in the edit feature can not distinguish between moderated and non-moderated people.

Anyone out there know how to write a code that will do this?  Send it to management so they can fix this.
