I saw a highly reviewed independent provider last week. When I spoke to her on the phone, she was coherent. When I arrived about an hour later, she was a disaster. The worst experience I have had in this hobby. I am a fair reviewer and I have not posted reviews on some well reviewed women I have seen. Sometimes the connection was not there or she was having an off day. This was not the case. If I post a review, I can be accused of posting a false review because my review would not be close to what other reviewers have experienced. Should I just let it go and hope other hobbyists don't get burned ? I would like some opinions from hobbyists and especially the ladies. Thanks.

That is the whole point of reviewing. You seem like a fair minded individual, so you can add all the appropriate "caveats" that can explain the disaster.
Don't forget to ask yourself (and include in the review) anything on your part that may have contributed. As we all know, it takes two to Tango.
By being truthful you may help her avoid another disaster in the future.
You and I have communicated before and I have used and appreciated your advise and suggestions. I hope you have done the same with mine.

That's what it's supposed to be, but we've seen it before, there'll be an hysterical denial posted, a blizzard of white knight posts in her defense, lots of accusations of a personal vendetta on his part and in the end it'll probably be pulled down anyway with most guys thinking he made it up anyway. The last guy who reported getting ripped off got outed on-line and the provider is still quite active on here

I doubt it however. I also believe we can either give out honest information through reviews and pms or the board is useless for providing an good information.

I think a truthful review of your experience can only help the situation. Your reputation speaks for itself with 150 reviews and all of your white lists. If this has happened to others it should've been noted before. Also if she reads her reviews it may help her in the future. Reaching out to her would help too and is something you may want to add to the review.

there is a way to write a review while being sympathetic and not rude.
The ladies here do a difficult job and are only human. If there is a substance issue or some other thing, it will come out and it will get worse before it gets better. If she needs help covering it up is not help.

If it's an honest review, you won't suffer any repurcussions for it. I posted a 7/2 review of a provider who is currently rated at 8.81/8.17 (check my reviews). It was an honest review, accurately describing my session with her.

Your post unfortunately looks too vindictive and the reviewer that you reference has only ONE review and it is a 7/2, which although coincidental looks like someone trying to double post a bad review to hurt the provider or just looks foolish.

With your review history you certainly have a heck of a lot of weight on this board, so it might be on her best interest, specially if she's also highly reviewed. We all have off days, and do-over doesn't necessarily have to be free, and I would not advocate for such (otherwise, that's plain blackmailing), but I would leave it up to her as to how to make it up. We have nothing but our reputations on this board, and that's very precious and easy to lose, so if you both are high up in the industry, I think you both should give each other a second chance.

First of all, I've noticed a few people suggesting you write to her and try go get something 'free' before you post your review. I can't imagine that will go well at all. She would most likely feel blackmailed. I made the mistake one time of commenting on a post from a provider on this site where it could have been interpreted that I was suggesting we 'negotiate' before I posted a review I was preparing to write. The girl flat out flipped out, started accusing me of this and that and just the general TER Boston board drama. Not worth it.
As for posting 'bad reviews', my opinion is that we all need to post HONEST reviews and while we're at it we need to remove the emotion as best we can and not be mean spirited while we do so.
MassMan, I saw your review and I thought it was well written, honest and not mean spirited. My personal take was it was a bad day for said provider and most likely a blip on the radar.
I was actually talking to a local provider about this very subject today. She had recently received a review from a hobbyist that was not only low scoring it was, quite frankly, hurtful. We all need to remember that a) we're all in this together and b) we're all human. If the girl is not attractive there are ways of saying so with out calling her a 'dog' or a 'skank'. If the service was bad then comment on the SERVICE not on her 'shit eating breath' or some other nonsense. These reviews greatly affect the girls business.

I'm happy you reviewed her when you did as I was just about to go see her mostly based on all the great reviews she had. You could almost see the pattern as the review before yours was mediocre at best. Plus the first question that came to my mind was why was this girl charging $400 in Boston and getting fabulous reviews then all of a sudden she is back in RI charging as little as $100 in some of her ads on BP?
She was known in RI before for being extremely YMMV and known to have many demons and it appears as though those demons have returned! I for one am very sad for her as I can't imagine what it was that caused her to return to those ways. I pray that if that is the fact she can get some help to get back what she has given the demons again, no one deserves what that crap does to your body, mind and soul....God Bless and prayers to her with hopes she can battle back soon!
On another note I am VERY happy Mr Massman posted that review, not only for my well being and others who may have wanted to see her but for her.....Sometimes a swift kick in the backside is great medicine hopefully she uses it in a constructive manner!
