Hello everyone.  Some of you who have been hobbyists for a while might remember the old Danish Health Club.  It was raided and shutdown by the IRS and FBI in June, 2004.

I was wondering if some of you would like to share your memories about the Danish Health Club.  I still remember girls like Lonnie, Fallon, Gina, and Chanel just to name a few.

I've met a few of the ladies that worked there post closing. Not sure what names they used @DHC.

I only went to DHC twice before it closed since I was a late bloomer.

My parents relocated to that area as I was starting high school. I remember being on the bus when someone clued me in on what took place there.  Knowing that there was a brothel in my own backyard and reading the occasional article in Cosmo about high class call girls. I have to say I was enthralled! Who knew that many moons later.... ; )

I used to drive up there monthly to see crystal. Heard she lived in the Boston area, but never appeared again

I thought it was pretty funny how that spa could exist as long as it did while a very good italian restaurant failed on the main floor of that same building. The Friendly Toast was located on the main floor for a year or two before relocating to downtown Portsmouth. I remember seeing a couple of the "massage therapists" out front on a smoke break when entering the eatery. There was a private residence right next door offering legit massage therapy too.

What I remember is that the DHC couldn't hold a candle to the Old English Health Club in Cambridge. Danish had some great looking women no doubt but as far I was concerned it was a rip off. At that place you never ever got your full time. If you paid for 45 minutes they'd have you out 20. The Old English was far better that way, they had just as many good looking girls, 2 secret back rooms and was 75 miles closer.

I noticed that someone mentioned D from the Danish. D was short for Delphine and I remember her from Richard's Health Club in Canton back in the late 70's and early 80's. That was another place that blew away the Danish. There was a point where Richards lost they're massage license so they made belive they were an exercise joint. The only thing that changed was that instead of massage tables they'd roll out floor mats and everything happened on the floor. The place was terrific...any og you other old guys remember that?
