After weeks of receiving comments regarding my minimal website, its functionality/accessibility for alternative browsers & PDAS, and small fonts I got it into my head that I would redesign AllyMoore.com again.

I impetuously pulled the entire site; knowing my nature I understood that I would be most motivated to redesign & script a new layout if there were a sense of urgency.

Without fail, within hours panicked messages of
"OMFG!  Ally what happened? Where are you?  Are you in trouble?" and "I always knew you wouldn't last you crazy bitch" began to trickle in.  
With the absence of a personal website, reliance upon advertisements via instant publishing mediums or escort malls became absolute and primitive. I briefly enjoyed the loss of pretense and "persona", reduced purely to the ad with a phone number and an email.

Given my sensitivities and paranoia this phenomenon quickly lost its luster as I was inundated with requests for more photographs, rate information and a general explanation for myself and what I provide.

When I began in 2006 the one that I call "Hooker Sensei", the Oracle of providing, told me that all I needed to ever post were 3 pictures and an email address.  I've stupidly & stubbornly never learned the ways of the Providing Samurai and being largely preoccupied with the concept "more is better" I've always enjoyed the process of creating attractive sites.

Setting up shop with a series of external hard drives containing design resources, textures, fonts, brushes, stock art and my images I began to sketch.
After several days of designer block I retreated, defeated & feeling uninspired.  

A few nights ago  I found a photograph of myself dressed in nylons and a corset with long red nails.
The picture had been taken during a twelve hour group photo shoot in Atlanta during my time with an agency.
Nearly a dozen girls, makeup artists, assistants and the men who loved us stuffed into two suites at the Four Seasons Hotel, it was an exciting and glamorous day.  I smiled looking at the  image and relished my earliest days in the business. I remember that my nail color and attire were specifically chosen because I felt that they were staples of "providing" and appropriate.  At the risk of sounding like a jaded old pro at the ripe age of 24 I naively took many of my cues from popular whoredom culture.

Suddenly, I was inspired.  Inspired by the songs "Jolene"-Dolly Parton and "Love Gun"-Kiss" pumping through my iPod.  Inspired by Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke; watching her as a child on reruns I knew that she was something more than a saloon proprietor, more special.  Inspired by my memories of thumbing through my father's copy of "The Happy Hooker"-Xaviera Hollander found deep within a closet at the age of 10.
Feminine whimsy, interesting fonts and soft colors galore-I was in heaven.

Over the past days, geeked out on Now N Laters candy & Turbo Iced Coffees until the early morning hours like a real nerd, I have created a layout that I like and enjoy.

I will be adding a blog (a first for me but somehow feels appropriate), a ticker with real-time modified rates and shockingly inventive/good special rates to ensure that you will have a reason visit often, new pictures and the possibility of video.

My ticker is intended to be the ultimate in "Made Ya Look!"

It is most important to me that with the redesign I also restructure my approach to those who patronize me- including new entries to the hobby.
I will be placing links that I think that you will find useful on both the blog and etiquette sections in the hope that I can serve as a resource as apposed to being another source of antagonism for those who are already disoriented and confused by the scope of the hobby.
