Hello - I am interested in understanding the pros and cons of the whole reference checking thing.  I have been hobbying for about 20 years and always happy to share my references but I have found that either A - Provider never checks reference or B - It takes too long for other providers to get back to them.  So PROVIDERS and Hobbyists - What do you see as the pros and cons of this process??  Maybe I am just a bored Old Guy after a kick-butt PATRIOT VICTORY!!!  Break it down for me - please!

we believe that by verifying clients it protects the girls . When a person who might have bad intentions knows they are not a stranger but rather there is a service behind the woman who has their info we believe that will keep the girls safer

We always check references, and I won't see anyone without some form of reference. It can take time for independent providers to get back to you on reference checks (sometimes several days if they only work part time). Agencies are much quicker to deal with though. Having a membership with one of the screening sites will make things much easier on you and the provider.
I highly suggest scheduling an appointment several days in advance, or at least providing your references in advance prior to making an appointment. That way when you are ready to schedule, the provider/agency will have had time to screen you.
