I know that variety is the spice of life, but I have done a little research on the messages on this discussion board and
I have discovered one very interesting fact.

Most of the complaints here about SP that provide poor service,
don't show, show up really late, ask for unplanned additional
funds and are rude or just plain stupid seem to be from
out of the area.  Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good
SPs coming here that are great, but the majority of the complaints are about out-of-area providers.

On the other hand, there have only been 3 (our of 100's) of posting that have been critical of our local talent.  Believe me, although Boston has been called a wasteland for SPs, it is LOADED with gorgeous talents.

So the next time you are in a quandry (that means confused wondering for those in Dracut (hehehe)) about what to do for an
SP for the evening, remember the local providers.

Everything in moderation.

I've had good and bad times with both touring and local SP's.  If your smart you do some research (more than just finding a phone number), and then you should have a pretty good idea of what to expect.  When reading reviews I usually check to see how many other SP's a reviewer has seen.  If this is the only one I'll usually ignore it.  Same, if the reviewer only review SP from one company.  I'll look closely at the best and worst and plan for somewhere in the middle.

Then of course even now and then I'll take a shot in the dark and go for someone w/o any info.  Most of the time the best I hope for is middle of the road.  Then I write a review, good or bad.
