Best ever...BB King at last year's Chicago Blues Festival (the Blues Festival is one of my favorite things about living in Chicago).  It was his first appearance there in 20 years and it was stellar.  Second best ever...John Lee Hooker many moons ago, when I was young and silly, at a tiny venue in central California.  I was so close, I could feel the moisture when he sang.  I could go on.  There is nothing more spectacular than an awesome Blues concert.

I saw Buddy Guy back in January at his place, here in Chicago.  I have tickets to see him in Joliet on Friday.  Good stuff.

Ronnie Earl and Monster Mike at the Sitting Bull Tavern in Maynard - Crammed into a tiny bar in July, hazy hot and humid, sweating profusely, and so freakin' into it - not even noticing.  Never forget it!

I love Buddy Guy but have not had the privilege of seeing him in concert.

Best all time concert was SRV in OOB standing so close to him I could feel the heat he generated and he played my favorite song Little Sister.

2nd fav concert BB King at Bates College, just incredible.

Anyone going to the North Atlantic Blues Festival in Rockland Maine this year say Hi to me!!! I have seen Bo Diddley, Jimmy Vaughn, Debra Coleman, James Cotton, Junior Wells and many other awesome artists there.  This year Bobby Rush. We have an autographed guitar from a few years ago, signed by Taj Mahal and many others!
