Just walked by a Boston hotel, looked shut down, restricted access - check in at the front desk before you go up. Wondering if anyone knows the current restrictions, or has any experiences to relate...thank you!!

Different hotels are different.  Some are shut down until September.  Others open but need key card to get in front door.  Others just have one door open but if you walk in like you belong there and wear your mask it it not an issue

Marriot seems to be open and a little looser.

Limited service at the hotel, including limited maid service. Staff was intrusive to people entering even with mask on.  I ended up having to do down to the lobby to greet my guest there. If I hadn't the hotel in question would have made me add the person as staying with me on the room.  

Thankfully I was there to see only three people and one saw me for extended dates including dinner out two nights in a row.  

This happened right before Mass went into phase 3 so that may make a difference. Dining out was great and so were the 3 gentlemen I spent time with.
