just really getin started on the hobby, and not sure as to what the landscape is really like.  Had some excellent adventures in RI (caddilac, desire ect) but not in the open world.  Is there really that much LE chasing this whole thing or is it overstated.  Googled around and not alot of current bust info, it does't seem like theres  a boatload of vice cops chasing the action. Not looking for the this can happen to you "horror story" but just an honest appraisal as to what it's really like here in Boston and more specificly the south shore.

For example, I hobbyied for about 30 years, seeing well over 200 gals in that time, before there was a TER.  I just called ads in the weekly entertainment paper, or went to MPs.

I never once came close to seeing any LE.

That said however, since it is possible to improve your odds 1000 fold by using TER, I suggest that you do same.

You'll not only improve your odds, but you'll find a much better class of gal that way.

Scoring full service in a strip club, though generally over priced, is pretty safe but seeing a well reviewed provider in a nice hotel room is more my cup of tea.  LE has always concentrated their efforts much more on the street walker scene than the escort side.  There was a notable bust in Boston a couple of years ago that involved federal authorities cooperating with locals and the hotel chain.  There was another one a few years before that involving dumb escorts trying to drum up business in the bar of the hotel they were staying at.

A Google search isn't going to give you the skinny on what's going on in the suburbs.  A lot of what goes on as far as LE activity never makes it past the local police blotter.  A quick scan of my town's blotter on line a few years ago was a real eye-opener for me.  In one week there were three calls to a couple of local hotels for prostitution...

To assume that all is safe would be a mistake but it's very easy to protect yourself by sticking with known, well reviewed ladies or agencies. Once you start rolling the dice with Back Page you are increasing your risk of both LE problems and also just plain bad service.

Specifically the south shore? Common sense and discretion are your best defense
