Milton - thanks for the great list and it's funny you mention barter. I have had that happen/offer on several occasions from providers or agencies due to the nature of my work.  Plus, as you said, it keeps no trail.  Though I have not found any barter opportunities since my relcoation ot thsi area.  Still getting acquainted with who can/cannot be trusted in this area.

And ladies - what is your feeling on barter?

As a photographer, who has done photos for Milton in the past, I'm always open to a Barter

Barter behind the scenes if you want-- No problem-- BUT, TER does NOT allow Barter ads or posts on the boards.

Wow! I've actually been using green dot...but only when I travel. I'll definately be much more careful now!

She is right. Cash is king.

I think GreenDot is better than using your regular credit card. You don't want the charge to show on your credit card statement and have to explain that series of $$$ charges in divorce court.

There is a time and place for it. Perhaps I will elaborate a little more about it in the future, but not now.

But again, always give cash the highest preference.

Great tips, Milton. But a word of caution for Yahoo! and Hotmail:

Yahoo! and Hotmail add your computer's IP to the e-mail headers they send. That means that if you were to send an e-mail to an LE e-mail account, they can look up your e-mail, look up your ISP, subpoena them, and then get your personal information.

So be aware of that. Be careful who you e-mail through those accounts. Or obfuscate your IP.

Or switch to Gmail. The big problems with Gmail, though, are that it can be *very* slow, and it's easy not to delete anything.
