After some research and help from both you nice ladies and some of the guys here I decided to take the plunge and got myself Date checked!  It actually worked!  I saw two pretty hot ladies on the listings and contacted them -- no issues with screening no issues at all!  Well maybe just one small issue -- I gotta write 2 more reviews... !
Thanks to everyone on the board who pointed me in the right direction -- now I don;t have to worry about sharing personal info with anyone!

Congratulations. However, there is now a unified record that DoctorRocks (real name John Q Public) likely saw AngelFace of Boston on Jan 2, ButtCheeks of Las Vegas on Jan 10, and so forth. The record is probably backed up professionally and may be kept forever. Its safety depends on Date-Check's security against hacker break-ins, accidental leaks, competitor attacks and such.

I am not really certain it's safer than disparate records maintained by AngelFace, ButtCheeks et al. Yes, those records are probably less secure, but not as durable and not subject to sensational wholesale disclosure on SmokingGun.com.

While somewhat lost in the multiple negatives: I indeed gave my true reason to be a bit wary of verification sites. Right you are, my reviews carry some risk, but TER database does not have my real name (well, at least not to my knowledge

Now, for a person seeing lots of agency escorts having one DateCheck record is possibly safer than multiple per-agency records. So, DoctorRocks may have done well, risk-management-wise. My point is mainly that if DateCheck's list of names ever goes public (heaven forfend), a customer googling for his own real name suddenly may find the DateCheck link to be the top one.

Yep, the regular anonymous membership seems just about risk-free, assuming one pays by cash, or some other hard-to-trace method.  Of course if you already have references, the reason for Date-Check membership is sorta diminished, right?

But their "Honorary" (i.e. newbie verification) membership does require the real name, and that's a concern. Sorry, I should have pointed out the distinction.

Speaking of payments: why doesn't TER take PayPal for membership fees, I wonder... They apparently do for advertising fees.

Date-Check is a really awesome site and I highly recommend it to ladies and the hobbyists.

1. Date-Check caters to the Companionship community throughout the US and is widely supported by major websites in the industry.

2. While its still a lady's responsibility to make sure the referenced ladies are still legit, the hobbyist has a *review history* of his own from lady members there and with possible notes if necessary. This makes OUR lives MUCH easier (as companions) when it comes to obtaining a man's references.

3. Guys can create a profile so you can learn more about their personal likes/dislikes (i.e. room ambiance, perfume, special accommodations, etc). THIS particular feature is REALLY awesome and guys can tell if we did our homework prior to the date or not.

4. Its a paid service you can easily simply earn free months via recommending fellow hobbyists and companions to join...they get a free trial membership too!

I whole-heartedly suggest using Date-Check, particularly if you're a TRUE companionship kind of person. I don't work for them...lol, but am a true advocate of their business model. I truly hope to see more folks joining from the New England community. Two thumbs up here!!!!!!!!!

To answer your question about Paypal...

They don't exactly desire our sort of industry or anything Adult related, according to them. They actually monitor the *type* of businesses using their service. I am officially banned from Paypal now b/c I used them. It really sucks because this affected me personally so....no more Ebay.  lol
