Why is everyone worried?

No matter what they and anyone says...once they got your information it really isn't any safer from dissemination, intentional or otherwise, than if you'd posted the same on the Internet.  You loose control, someone gains control...lol.  Sorry.

I just wanted to take the time and update all of you on my LTA situation. I decide not to go through with it at least for the time being. I got lots of pm comments and I want to thank Megan publicly for her insight and comments. I've never met her but what a class act. Articulate and thought provoking. Also a shout out Cristin for her insight. I got over a dozen different responses and even a couple of offers from an additional couple of ladies in case I was interested in going forward with such an arrangement. I also was able to determine that there is not just one way to approach this type of arrangement. I got an email from a local indie who just graduated college in December who has a part time job and is looking to supplement her income. I got another response from an indie who has started her own business and is also looking to supplement her income. There were a couple of other offers but it just goes to show the options available if you're willing to provide a steady income for a lady.
As for my specific situation, I still see the lady in question but a few items arose that really annoyed me. Through the course of our conversations I came to find out that when she first met me she was told by the agency my full name, where I work and what I do there. I thought this was way over the top and was ready to call and complain to the agency. She begged me not to do it since she would get in trouble but I was really pissed about all of my personal information being given to a provider. Please don't ask me to divulge the agency since I used my TER handle as an intro to them and since they have so much info on me I'm not sure how they will respond if I revealed their identity. I hate being in this position and I think my agency days are over. Just something for those of you who use agencies and what at least one of them does with the information you provide.

I have found that it doesn't really matter whether it is agency or independent, some of both will misuse your info.

The key here is do not give more than what you feel comfortable doing. There are verification websites that can get people started and once you have seen a few ladies and have established references then it is pretty easy to get cleared by most ladies or agencies without giving up info I don't want to. I do not give out any work info, just won't do it. I am fortunate that I am single so my phone number isn't a hassle nor an email I have setup just for the hobby. I even host at my home occasionally, if I feel comfortable. The only issue is my nosey neighbor who is dying to know why all these young lovely ladies come to call. I was telling her they were massage clients but a couple times I have had a few good night kisses outside and most of my massage clients and I don't swap spit!!

There are too many great providers in Atlanta that don't require work info to justify giving it out.
I already can never see all the ladies on my list so if 1 or 2 pass on me because of my security reasons, that's ok. No harm, No Foul! We all have to play safe!!

As for the LTR, I would like to find 1 lady to be with but I don't make that kind of money, plus if I really find a lady I like a lot, I just see her as often as she will allow and I want.
To be honest, I have met 1 or 2 that if I thought they were interested, I would ask about a real dating relationship. I know, I know, they seldom work. I have done it before and we made it work. Of course I was much younger and closer to their ages. My problem is I really enjoy some of these ladies more than just sexually. For years I was a see them one time and never repeat. Now if I meet a really cool lady, I enjoy repeating as the intimacy grows. I guess I'm just getting soft in my old age. ;-P.

Try not to let a few bad apples spoil it for you. Have fun and remember, it is just sex and as Tina Turner once suggested...what's love got to do with it?

I thought that the agencies/providers discard all of the clients personal information once the session is over? I'm sooooo surprised that this isn't always true.
