So ... I'm the type of hobbyist, I find a provider that I like personality-wise and I stick with them. I understand it's still a transaction, but I believe people are still real. But chapters close. So I find myself out looking after some time out of practice.

today was a revelation in frustration. I literally was unable to book with anyone despite being polite, pleasant and gladly giving refs. i'm whitelisted on TER and I mention that.

wow.  there are jerks of every race. why ice out an entire race behind a few bad apples? uncool.

I mean, i see a provider out there I remember seeing a year ago and she was fine with anyone and even worked with two sisters. and now she's listed with 'no black men'. I don't know what happened over the past year ... is there a stickup artist or hustler or something out there that providers are trying to ice out?

With the current environment, the providers are paranoid about LE. They are wanting all the info they can get to screen us and I have also noticed rates going up. I have been in this hobby for over ten years and couldn't get screened two weeks ago. May be time for me to really honor my board name

I have found that my Preferred411 membership comes in incredibly handy in situations like this. I was in Vegas last month and had a lady cancel on me at the last minute. If not for P411, I'd have been up shit's creek without a paddle.

Also, from your reviews, it seems like we've seen a few of the same ladies...and I know from personal experience that they LOVE to introduce gents like us to their other friends So don't give up hope just yet man.

why someone would turn an individual down based on their color, seems like if you're verified it shouldn't really matter. But everyone has their preferences and personal experiences that dictate their decisions.
