LL has hijacked so many providers sites and sold them to others to ever be sure.

I hate to tell people to avoid all sites run by OWS because many of them no nothing about his antics over the last many years, but he routinely "repossesses" sites with good reputations and sells them to other, less reputable operators.

Truth is, I don't know who currently owns this site, but considering that OWS is their "web pimp" I would use caution.

I stand by what I said about LL and OWS.

There has been more conversation about that piece of shit in the last week than the last entire year, I was hoping he had crawled back in his hole and died by now. Oh well, wishful thinking. lol

It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't try to come crawling back on this board again under some bogus account or another, it's good that he is so transparent, he will be easy to spot. Plus he won't be able to resist the temptation to go after me again. He doesn't like me for some reason, I wonder why? lmao

Thanks for piping in about GFE, I don't like to slam people who don't deserve it, and from what I have heard back channel, and from you, they are completely legit.

You know at least as well as anyone on this board what LL is capable of, but in this case it turns out the current owner is legit.

Ally owned GFE (GirlFriend Expo) back about 2 years ago, Like PT said she is a stand up person and I really like her although I am not sure if she owns this site, just call and ask.  

I can vouch for indeed that Autumn was Sloane that worked here at ER; I am really glad she found a new place to work.  So I know that she is real and that is her in the photos.  Sloane is smart enough to research a company I am sure before working there.  I have not talked to Sloane for a couple of weeks, so she has not mentioned where she is working but I do not usually keep ties with ladies who no longer work at ER.  Either way Sloane/Autumn seems to be a stand up gal herself so I am sure the company has something to offer.

a waste of time, as it all depends on the integrity of the business owners.

Getting feedback from other sources however can usually result in a better picture of the situation.

For example, if you have to ask a sales associate at Best Buy for a purchase recommendation while you're at the store, then you're already behind the curve.

I have never seen those photos of "Autumn" before so I can assure you they are recent and thats what she looks like, she worked with us, I guess a little over 8 months, so they could not of used our photos, theLadies that work with us are exclusive, it seems like this is a legit place.  i suggest calling them if you have questions.

At one time he did almost all the Brazilian and Asian sites, you know the ones chock full of stock pics, and he has been persona non grata  on TER for years now.

His sites are easy to recognize as he plasters his logo on every one.

I would also like to remind all providers and agency owners alike to make YOU own your own domains, if and when you have a conflict with your hosting company the last thing you need is for him to retain ownership of YOUR site. something that has happened on many occasions with OWS.

Yet another factor that one could consider in how savvy agencies are or aren't when it comes to risk management.  Not taking steps to retain ownership of the site (or the information that passes through it) shows a certain level of naivete if you ask me.

You missed the point again.  I was using this to illustrate that there are other factors besides screening to consider when determining how safe one is in this hobby; factors which you failed to consider when you made your assertion that agencies are generally safer than indies.  But to your point, would you care to provide a link to the report that shows the total number of agencies making "dubious business decisions" versus the total number of independents that do the same?  I'd love to read it.

He seems to dominate, or at least did at one time, the Brazilian and Asian agency markets. Most of the sites that you will see for MP's both asian and hispanic are OWS sites.

As with many industries people from other countries are not as aware of their rights in a foriegn land. It's a shame that scum like Larry exist to prey on the naieve, but it is a fact of life. The only thing I can think to do about it in an illegal business like the hobby is to shout it from the highest rooftop in the hopes that any prospective victims might be warned in advance.

This is also the reason he hates me with a passion. Apparently my many warnings have not fallen on deaf ears, and maybe he has been hurt in the only way that seems to count, in the wallet. lol

This place is far from perfect, but it's heads and shoulders above whoever is in second place.
