I was considering seeing a lady until I read on her site that there was a higher rate for first appointment, and then subsequent visits were at the normal rate. The first visit rate was $50 more than the rate for follow-up visits.

Can someone please explain to me why this may be the case. I could sort of understand if the lady said for first visits you had to book maybe an extended session. I've seen some lady's say the first visit has to be an hour and a half session and that was typically because she may need the extra time to be comfortable with a new person and that person with the lady. I'm not saying I totally buy into that think either because if you are professional and the guy knows what the typical do's and don't are, there should be no need for that, but I can sort of see it from a comfort level perspective.

What I can not understand is insisting that the first visit be for more money but not extra time as well. Am I missing something? Lady's I know it is a big "no no" for a guy to question a lady's rate but do you think I would be totally off base and insult the lady in question by asking why the higher rate but not extra time for 1st visits?

Just ask her...Tell her you are curious and would like to know why....if she gets offended then owell...doesn't hurt to ask.

My only guess is that when we see someone new your always taking a chance of it being LE.  Maybe the extra cash from each new person is like a "bail out of jail insurance"?  Who knows...!

Excuse me for being ignorant but shouldn't a lady screen all clients at all times? I thought most providers kept screened info until the "date" and then disposed of it afterward. At least that is what many tell me. So wouldn't they screen every time?

Case in point, I know one lady who had a, lets say, very difficult time she told me about with one of her so called regular clients. She wants to take legal action but doesn't have any of his info handy because he was a regular and she felt he was okay.

The guy may not be LE but there are other safety and security reasons why I would think a lady screens.

I have my rate, however I offer discounts to return clients. I do not post this on my site, but will post it in ads. I do this because I think it is only good business to show appreciation to return clientele.

I also offer discounts to RoomService 2000 members, in order to compensate that you have to pay a one-time membership fee of $50.

Everyone does things differently. It doesn't hurt to ask, but you should always respect a provider's right to do whatever they want.....just don't see her :)

Most of the people I see are people I have seen before....One man I have seen since I started (over four years ago)...I am not going to screen him everytime!  He would think I have lost my mind.  I have a pretty good memory (when I am not drinking..j/k).  However, to screen someone you might see a couple times a month I think is silly.  If I saw the person only one time before and I don't remember him well I will ask him to refresh my memory...where he works etc...

You know I've been thinking about this and reflecting on my experience with providers and I'd have to say that: 1) Sometimes when you see a provider many times, in effect, you become a regular, you'll give the provider MORE then she usually gets and the 2) most times, when you become that regular, the provider lower the rate more as a business rule--she might even email or call those existing clients with specials and such!
