Cheyanne called a said she will be in Atlanta Friday for a few days, she said to e-mail her at [email protected].  She said she would like to see some of her old friends. And maybe a few new ones(grin) She is a 21 YO very pretty blonde with a fantastic body, no I will not hog up her time, I am just passing the info along as I just want to help her, she realy is a great person when you get to know her.  Yes I know she got a few knocks here, but she is young and learning and she really does give a great session at reasonable rates, please, no flaming again, you that have experienced her great service know, read her reviews, a couple were not the best, but most are great, she is independant and would Jimmy steer you wrong??

Since I am not very computer literate, Atl Mgr or Mr Gadget, please do that link thing here, me no not how, some day some one will teach me, but you know how hard is is to teach a ol dog new tricks(grin)

She called and said for some reason she could not get her lap top to work to post. I have seen links done before and thought it was OK. Meant to link to her reviews, thought it was OK, hell what do I know??  Sorry if I was out of line. Jimmy

I've posted announcements dozens of times, on my own, and they have been accepted by the moderator (thirsty). They are innocuous bulletins that the providers, most of the time, aren't aware that they've been posted.
On the Carolinas boards, providers, themselves, will post a change in venue and time. Mod, you might want to check with thirsty, as he permits this practice.

First let me say, that it's not fair to pluged if you say "thirsty does this or that." One of the things about TER is that there are very few hard and fast rules. Moderators are encouraged to shape their own boards. As long as the moderator is consistent, IMHO, that's all that matters.

The more I see announcement type posts, the more uncomfortable I get with them. I'm more inclined to let guy put up what I call "fan club" posts. ("I just saw 'sexy sally' and she's my ATF!)

Think about this from the moderator's POV. If pluged allows this post, isn't every other provider in town going to say, "You let her do it. Why not me?"

I appreciated my time as moderator of this board but I'm not Mod here anymore. Pluged does a great job!

I agree thirsty, but you must admit that when we get accustomed to one mod's restrictions, it's difficult to adapt to a new mod's practices. So be it!

...funny thing is, neither moderator mentioned it's not a TER approved site.

...because I've looked at all the TER usage and discussion board policies, and I sure can't find it.

I think you may be mistaken on this one, pluged.

Jimmy only provided her email contact so I never looked at the website.

Hey, thirsty!  Good to see ya aournd; hope you've been well.

As I posted earlier, I've looked closely at all the TER usage and discussion board policies, and I can't find anyplace where it says that we hobbyists can't post information on the board about the ladies.

I'm not talking about ad posts; that's a different story. But hobbyists posting messages that state "look who's in town, here's her contact info" has always been an accepted practice in the past on the Atlanta TER discussion board and elsewhere, and I can see no valid reasons it should change.

I totally agree Att mgr, it has been common practice to link sites in the past.  It is also been common to link reviews for visiting lades, after all, this discussion is for SHARING INFORMANTION, but I guess I am wrong, can't believe what it is for now, so explain please. How are we to know about someone that is coming to Atl to visit?  Jimmy

You ask what the difference is between posts announcing when someone is in town from a hobbyist & what Jimmy posted.

Posts that are simply station "X(name) is back for blah(dates)"
is acceptable. Jimmy though stated ways to contact her, that she had told him how to inform people to contact her. He was in this case posting an ad.

Posting an announcement is fine as long as they don't include contact or rate info and as long as they don't ask people to prebook.

If you do that, you are posting an ad & that will not fly.

Pluged, So whats wrong with giving info to my fellow hobbiest her E-mail addy, we have been doing this for a long time and also linking reviews, If this is the way it is to be, then you do not need us to promote this site, I guess you see you have me riled and it only happened when I posted it, look back for the past 11 months read the posts and you will see it has been done for a long time, why pick on me. I have been posting and sharing since Nov last year and now you screw with me, what gives, Jimmy

im not picking on you Jimmy at all, but the fact that you instructed people to email her is one of the biggest issues.

id refer you to read the post by "thirsty", but im sure you already have.

dont take this as a personal attack against you, as it is in noway that. merely me moderating fairly. if your post didnt instruct people to email her/contact her, i wouldnt see any problems with it.

OK, so if I just give the e-mail addy and do not say to see her it is OK?  That makes sence.  Thanks,  Jimmy

" she said to e-mail her at [email protected].  She said she would like to see some of her old friends."

jimmy, if you give her email address that is one thing, but saying "she said" and typing who she would like to see is promoting her, rather than giving information about her. im not sure how else to say it.

if just an email address is given & the description you gave regarding her reviews & all that is just fine. but by stating "she said" and such is what prompted this.

i hope you can understand.
