Bummer...they're going up.....while the market is going down..Haven't had a chance to be with you yet, but hope to before your prices get beyond my price range.....

with the economy in the tank, layoffs at record levels, and the stock market at levels of 5 years ago, i am amazed that anyone would have the nerve to raise rates.. if anything lowering would be more wise..

If things dont work out i may remain the same rate, but as of now i have to try this because of the cost of legal fees advertising and school starting, besides many of my friends charge more than this and do quite well.. but i will tell you im not going to lower from my regular rate and one a guy becomes a regular the rate can go down to the one i have now

Her rates were below "market value" before.  She only uped them a little.  Deanna, you did right by increasing your rates to what is the going rate in Atlanta.  You were sweet to "grandfather" in your regulars.  The guys who are complaining pay them no attention.  You will still get clients, they are out there and they can afford it!

Guys, have you ever thought about bartering services?  Just a thought.   I need painting, landscaping and computer web help!  Just  thought.
