After reading a few posts about pricing, I thought I'd add to the debate.  The problem with flat rate pricing, especially for relatively new providers, is the hobbyist doesn't know what he's getting for the $.  So I came up with the following "cafeteria" plan:

Base rate per hour    125
Add for:
10+ positive reviews   50
BBBJ                   25
CIM                    25
2nd pop                50
Greek                  50
Subtract for:
Appt. before 2 pm     (50)
3+ visits             (50)

How does this compare with your ATF's pricing?  Would you pay more or less for certain "options"?

If a hobbiest does not know what he's getting then he hasn't read the reviews unless he is taking one for the team.  As to setting a standard pricing strucutre, let the market do it.  Most of us have a price we will not go above and we look for those "specials." Let each provider set her own pricing structure and if there is no demand, then she will have to adjust it.  Anyway we are just paying for her "time."

I totally agree with Soloman. Let the market decide. I've stopped seeing the higher priced providers and I'm always on the lookout for specials.

I think letting the demand structure our pricing is far better than letting the gents do it...

I tend to find that when I adjust my rates lower, I lose quite a bit of the clientele I appreciate most, economically; those who prefer extended dates; and who are more on a champagne than a beer budget.

It's very difficult to place a "price" on what I deem to be my most precious asset-ME

But I try to remain competitive to what I consider to be fair.  There are many, many beautiful and talented providers here, and I cannot speak for all of them...But to group us all into one same "pricing structure" isn't exactly fair...

I just truly believe we are all on different levels...that doesn't mean I'm better than anyone else; it just means that like the gents, there is a certain amount that I will not go below...but that is my prerogative...

i think when you see a provider you should pay the price agreed on.then when you vist her again you should get a  discount from then on out.there is a provider no longer in atlanta that i would see once a month.my first to times with her were her regular rates then she started giving me a 50 dollar discount each time i came back to see her.

so you are saying i should charge 325.... then subtract for the other things.. hummm... now if i love what i do and do what i love why would i wanna take all the money at one time when i can just get enough to pay bills and have a bit for the college fund. and keep them coming back.. so i can still have more fun and still pay the bills

where do you add in or take out for:
1- LOCATION, providers "maintenance & upkeep"...  LOL
2- thought, compassion & inspiration
3- provacative & stimulation of the mind and senses
4- discussing & debating current events, policy or ideas
............etc,etc etc
**maybe some just consider that the GFE, but I think the physical is all a given anyway**

As Chris Rock likes to point out: 'You shouldn't take credit for the things you suppose to do anyway...' I think most of your "+" and "-" should really be part of the experience....strange "score card to me"   just my thoughts kisses Candace

I only dine at the best places that offer the meal at a set price. That includes appetizer, entree, and dessert. The specific offerings are advertised as specialties of the restuarant and I choose my restaurants by what I'm hungry for.

Candace, thank you love! Jimmy has high hopes, but he knows that I'd never let that happen. I've had more than my share of table dance and couch dances at the Master's Club in MB, which, BTW has about 125 girls in peak golf season. I think I know 122 of them. None of the ilk of those dancers would ever replace Candace!! Sooo, there JimmyPW. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!! As for table-dancing girls I'm going to buy dances for some of the ladies. They can pick them out too!!

I didn't get any dessert !!

I know - It was one of those situations where I was just so full of the main course (my dear Sweet & Sexy Candace), that there was just no room left for dessert. I was full and content.

(But, was I supposed to ask for a Take-Out box, so I could take you home and enjoy some more later??  What a yummy thought ...)
