Just wanted to drop a note to those that are using an AOL email account. You may not have been getting all of your email lately. I have noticed problems when sending to 2 different AOL users that I've been getting a lot of "undeliverable" messages. I did a little research on the net, and found that AOL has been implementing some SPAM software, and it has been causing this problem. (Of course, that's when I discovered that this is not the first time that AOL users experienced email problems.)

Just a note, it's not just AOL.  The internet is being flooded with spam right now in anticipation that congress is going to pass a no spam bill and shut it all down.  Also the mydoom virus is adding to the misery.  Let's top that with a new problem, that's aimed right now at AOL IM.  It's spam for IM called SPIM.  Soon to be foucused on andy IM product.  Just to give a set of numbers, I work for a large company and right now fully 85% of the traffic coming at our email servers is SPAM.  We've had to go out and buy a set of servers to place ahead of them to filter out the spam.  I don't care for AOL any more than most others, but they are not alone in the problem.

I understand the SPAM problem is huge. I also work for a rather large company (in the I.T. dept.), and realize the measures being implemented to fight the SPAM problem.

However, I was merely bringing to light the fact that I have not been able to email 2 AOL users due to a problem at their end. (I have no problem communicating to Yahoo email users from my Hotmail account.) They might want to check with AOL, and pay more attention to phone calls in the interim.
