Why is it that there are so many vicious attacks on this board.  Yes everyone has a right to express their feelings and frustrations, but WOW, can’t it just be a statement or a disagreement on the idea without the nasty face slapping replies and even the initial posts many times are so vicious and condescending.

Yes, everyone has an opinion and should be able to express it.  But if a simple statement about “ I like red dresses”, someone will come along and attack the person because her or she likes blue dresses.  No, they will not just say “I really like blue ones because of ---------------”, it seems to be the norm to say, “what the fu** is wrong with you,  red dresses  are the pits, and you are ah for thinking it”.

I have not posted here in a long  time as it does not seem much like fun anymore.  Thought the angry posts and people would have subsided, but alas, no, they keep coming.  

Well,  I believe the plea will bring out more of the same,  but surely hope not and maybe the board can take a step in the direction of fun and a more pleasant attitude.  
But then,  attacking and trying to make people feel small it fun for some.   Mostly when hiding behind an Alias – alias.

there are some very small people out there who believe the only way to make themselves look good is to make other people look bad.  It isn't even worth your time to acknowledge them.

Having said that, I am all for seeking truth and knowledge to keep safe and that's what this site is supposed to be used for.

Attack's are different.  When you're intention is to hurt or cause harm there is a problem.  

This board is definitely not what it was years ago.  Don't really know which direction to point the finger, however with a dwindling economy, and an influx of ladies attempting to make quick cash, and hard dicks chasing the pipe "cheap dream" well... WTF do you expect???

Roll with it baby...  Stay away from those who we know intend to harm.  Survival of the fittest is my Motto.  Smart Provider's and Hobbyists do their homework and know who to avoid.  

As for Zorff's comments.  I respect them.  May not agree fully, but still respect his freedom of speech and ability to express his opinion without attacking from behind an alias in a cowardly manner.

It's sad, but true, however we cannot control negative people and their actions.  I was going to write a post Myself last week regarding this, but I got busy and did not have the chance to get it written out, I am glad you said it Jimmy.  

I detest rumors, I am disgusted with the independent vs. independent, the Agency vs. Agency the Agency vs. the independent the independent vs. the agency and the clients who have nothing better to do with their time but trash everyone else.  

We all have opinions and instead of respectfully disagreeing or maturely commenting, people attack, people spread rumors, why can we not respect each other for our different opinions and thoughts?  This nastiness does nothing but make the whole adult entertainment industry look bad.

My thoughts; the only way it will change is to not respond to the negativity and perhaps do just the opposite and just be positive.  

I have better things to do with My time to worry about someone being an asshole just because they don't have anything better to do.  

I will just move along and focus on the positive in My life.  My wonderful business, My wonderful family, My pets, My hobbies.  I have no interest in putting the time or energy into someone who chooses to swim in their own misery.  I will not add to that pool.  

Ding.  Move along.

I have been away from this board for nearly 9 months --- and the more things change with the Atl board , the more they stay the same. It will never , ever improve. Providers and clients will come and go , but the negativity will remain.I see negativity from clients , providers and most troubling --- agencies. If those that hate continue hating , Atl will continue to have the worst rep in the US.

Couldn't agree more... the TER boards (all of them)are plagued by drama at every turn.  It's rare to find any thread that doesn't deteriorate into a drama filled list of name calling, useless allegations, and just plain waste of bandwidth.  IMHO, there are two primary factors that promote this crap.  First is the use of aliases.  In all the years of participating in the boards, I have never once seen a legitimate reason for an alias.  It has always been the case that an alias post either shows up with some funny name designed to simply be a joke, or it is used to hide the person's board persona so that they can induce drama.  When in the hell is the management of TER going to understand that the whole concept of alias is killng the boards?

Second, and probably the biggest culprit is the lack of common sense moderating.  I know, easy for me to say because I am not the one who has to do the moderating.. nevertheless, we have some written rules and those generally seem to get enforced, but what we don't have is common sense, opting instead for a banner of "freedom of speech".  Well, ok, there is a fine line somewhere there for sure.  But, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that some of these posts are nothing more than an unwarranted attack that serves no positive purpose, does nothing to further a debate, and makes no point toward the original thread subject matter.

I know censorship is a sore subject and not easy to apply.  But, going back to my first point, if it's worthy of being posted, it ought to be worthy of being posted without an alias to hide behind.  Just my O2.

This board is what it is...a place that is used to share information, post ads, pass on best wishes, make comentary, bitch about rates, post
humor, spread lies and gossip.  Kind of like the lunchroom in High School.

This board is like it was 5 years ago.  I started posting stuff as inside humor to a friend, but I also picked up a great deal on who is who.  Even an alias does not change their writing style.

Alot of folks vow never to return yet they do to say how bad this board is.  I think we all know bad behavior when it appears.

I post wondering why it is so common to attack and call names on threads.  And lo and behold, it happened on this thread also.  I guess I just need to go back into my cave and forget about posting here. It has been a long time since I posted here and I seems that it should be another long time before I post again.  Maybe some of the negative people will move along or move out of town again. Hope they all stay gone this time and theboard will become what it was 4-5 years ago,  yes there was some arguments about differences of opinions but none of the constant bashing and name calling. Goodbye to here again,  butmay come back when some are gone.

Zorf is an asshole, that is not exactly front page news. This scenario has been played out dozens of times. He insults you, you get mad and insult him back. He makes another childish remark, laughing all the time, and you go ballistic in your reponse to him, he makes another insulting remark, now your blood pressure reaches boiling point, and the whole time Zorf is laughing his fucking ass off at how guillible and predictable you are. It's actually kind of sad watching him play you this way.

I hate to give Zorf credit for anything, IMO he is simply a troll in search of a bridge, but he has mastered the art of getting your goat. I am sure you are the source of countless hours of amusement for him. In all fairness, you aren't the only one that he does this to, Quad seems to have a weakness for tilting at windmills as well, but that the topic for another thread.

Most who post via an alias are trying to avoid being detected by the group. As one person pointed out above, their writing styles typically give them away.

Secondly, not having a Moderator is a problem as well. Several of the replies to your post would not be allowed if I had been moderating your board. Because of the lack of moderation, people feel free to say what they wish and to be rude and offensive on any post or any ladies ad that they deem fit.

The cowards who hide behind the aliases and use them to cause trouble or foster hurtful or demeaning comments will never change. They just need to be gagged for awhile and given some time on the bench.
