What's up with Eros being flooded with fake ads recently?  Eros use to be my second most reliable resource besides TER.

But now about 30% of their ads are most likely fake.  How you know they are fake ads:

1. when there's a lack of info and they are always "online now".
2. no email address.  real providers love having/providing an email address because its more more discreet and convenient way to communicate for both parities involved.
3. google searches bring up nothing
4. when there's no website available, not even a generic escort template website (even when you search outside of Eros).

All the real providers on Eros are also on TER anyways, so sad to see Eros no longer being a reliable additional resource.

What other resources do hobbyist use that is up there on par with TER and what Eros use to be?

Also, the massive number of fake TER reviews lately - i.e. 10/10's by first-time/only-time reviewers concentrated in specific ladies' profiles - detract from credibility of TER, though I am assuming they will eventually figure it out.

You have to bear in mind that they accept the ads that are purchased and they don't care if they are "fakes" or not. They just want the advertising dollars.
I don't know if there are more fake ads now then in the last few years or not. It seems pretty consistent and 30% sounds just about right for most of the categories although the Asian section can be as much as 70% fake.

I'll tell you what pissed me off about them. Several years back we used to be able to "tag" the typical "agencies" who used to purchase multiple fake ads at a time. Do you remember "somad"? They are a very large customer of EROS placing fake ads up and down the East coast. When we caught onto their fakes, EROS started to hide the customer codes from us.
Shortly afterwards, EROS initiated the right click disable after tineye became a useful tool for us to use. They have done everything they can to preserve their cash flow without any regard to hobbyists.

The best we can do is our own research and to choose how much of a chance we want to take. Sometimes it is easier to just use TER as a first resource and the malls such as EROS as secondary.

1.  How would being online frequently indicate that the ad is fake?  Could someone assume that you're a fake client because you spend so much time ogling Eros ads that you know who's online longest?

2.  Lots of legitimate providers prefer phone over email.  One can make a sound argument for one over the other in either direction.

3.  No Google hits often means said provider is new, or simply that she doesn't slather the internet with ads frequently enough to be indexed by search engines.

4.  Lots or legitimate providers don't have websites for a myriad of reasons.  Could be lack of technical expertise and the fact that those generic ones look like shit...or maybe they just don't know about the generic ones.  I dunno, but it happens.

These types of observations are stupid, yet plentiful.  I could assume that you have no idea what the hell you're talking about because you have only two reviews.  But review numbers would be a poor basis for that assumption.  The missing logic in your observations, on the other hand, makes a very strong case...

I wonder if it's "safe" to take a chance on an ad with no TER reviews (or reviews in general), have no website whatsoever, and no email address.

I kind of think those observations are smart/key observations to make.  My post wasn't to say all providers that lack these things are not real.  Just when you have to go with the odds those are important observations.

Also, there's multiple ways for a provider to find out if I'm real before I can see them.

I do have an ad on EROS and my light is almost always on but that is because I sign on from my phone and once we sign on the light stays on for 4 hours so really we don't have to sign on that many times per day for the "light" to be on. *just to clarify that point*
I personally use Date Check or P411 for most of my ads although I do have ads on other sites that can be found on my website. We are not permitted to post certain other review sites on here. Sorry!

And a reminder Gentlemen, PLEASE SCREEN YOUR PROVIDERS as well if not better than we screen you!!    Sending Love from the Carolinas & Hoping to meet some of you soon,
 Seductive Sloan
