I heard from someone in another region that some indys were putting their regulars on notice that if they didn't donate money during the downturn, they would no longer be considered regulars.  Comments?  

They are free to run their business as they please. I am free to say next and move on to someone else.

Free market capitalism will decide, and probably be detrimental to price gougers, beggars and threats. Personally I’ve only seen my best and trusted regulars during the outbreak. I’m tipping extra, and I receive gratitude.  

I saw something similar to that on Twitter.  Comedic relief.  Does this provider have a brain?
Nobody, and I mean nobody is indispensable!  That includes Sales People, Middle Managers, Executives, and Hookers!
I challenge anyone who believes that he/she is irreplaceable to fill a large tub full of water, make a big splash with your fists, and come back 10 minutes later!

It seems to me that would be detrimental to a ladies long term business model.... however if it is important to me that she is still in business when this thing is over then I should reach out before that thought ever crosses her mind.  I have seen a couple regulars I have seen and have sent financial support to all of my regulars, not more than I would have spent anyway.  I guess I am trying to make this budget neutral for me and my regulars... I'm fairly certain they appreciate it and will respond appropriately when the time is right  

Learned a long time ago, women are like buses. If you miss one there's always another one right behind that one.
Lucky for those of us on this side of the table, there has ALWAYS been a younger, prettier, hungrier provider that is more than willing to accommodate with a hell of lot less attitude and restrictions.
