Hello TER Atlanta Community,

I’ve been a hobbyist for a very long time - check out my posted reviews.  Yes, a long time. 😅

A few months back, I scheduled time to see a stunning lady.  We mainly communicated via email but to get final details we exchanged a few texts.  No issues whatsoever.  💬

Yesterday, while scrolling my social media channels her actual real name popped up as a suggestion to connect as it seems the algorithm worked. Right in front of me was a GORGEOUS looking lady that immediately caught my attention. With her personal name revealed.  I’m 100% positive it is her.

What has me concerned - and I never want to assume but don’t most ladies have a separate number for conducting business? During screening when seeing a new lady almost 100% of the time I’m asked for my personal or main phone number so I get how the algorithm added me.  I provide it with zero hesitation.

This is not the first time this has happened.  Curious on the communities thoughts and comments and perhaps without deleting my social media sites on how to prevent this from a reoccurrence.

Happy Hobbying!

Phones keep getting  smarter  it even connects your fake info with your real info, its hard to keep it all separate

I’m on social media & have noticed when I am posting I see my private profile is a suggestion of who to follow. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I found that to be very odd because I use different emails to open accounts. I have blocked my accounts from each other in hopes that it will not suggest the same to my followers. Privacy is a concern, but I honestly feel if anyone does a little research they can identify almost anyone.

I do find it to be very interesting. 🤨 I do not have my accounts linked. I do appreciate you posting. Did you let the lady know?

Please let the lady know. I am careful in using separate numbers and even different t social media platforms for personal and this. The lady may be completely unaware that this is happening,  and if it’s done it with you it may have happened before. Please tell her. Give advice if you have the know how to keep it from happening. Unfortunately as someone said these smart phones do keep getting smarter.

Sweetie!

Oh my gosh so this IT guy I sometimes use explained to me it's called "Data mining" and Facebook and some other sites are amping up even more these days. She could be using a complete different phone, but WHEN your phone and her phone are turned on and in the same room, Facebook and other sites might suggest you to one another! Crazy, right. I would block her account so you don't continue to get that suggestion.

Funny story...a gentleman I know signed up for Twitter/X using his REAL PERSONAL email address. He began following his favorite ladies just for fun. He's at Thanksgiving dinner and IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE FAMILY, Grandma says "Well, you sure do follow a lot of sexy ladies on Twitter!' ROTFLMAO!! Because he used his real email address, Twitter suggested him to Grandma!!!

Be careful out there, y'all!

MUAH, GT

As for telling her, what would you say? “Hi, I know your real name”?

It isn’t your role or responsibility imo
