You're unemployed and you don't have any references, I would suggest signing up to a verification site.

Most ladies accept p411, there are others but I can't recall them as of now. www.preferred411.com

I'm a newbie and was just turned down (very nicely though) by a provider that needed references from another provider.  I'm unemployed and use to be self employed so verification through job will be difficult.  Is there any other method? Anyone around the area you guys can recommend?  I sort of want to use another provider as a "spring board" to the one i prefer to see.

My advice is to go the long route or cheap route.

Long Route:
Since you don't have references you will have to find a provider that is willing to "feel you out" via phone, email, text or all three.  You will have to spend time talking to her and allowing her to get to know you and get to know her so that she feels comfortable.  You will have to be forth coming about what industry you worked in, first and last name, area of town you live in and other information she can easily verify with a White Pages or Intellus search.  Might take 3 days to a week to get an appointment but you then have a reference!

Short Route:
You go on BP or CL, make alot of calls to various girls there and try to find someone who doesn't screen but is well reviewed and meets all of your personal standards.

BabyGirl, I think you are fine as hell, but I so disagree with your "advice".  A lot of the top 100 are not going to take a provider reference from someone on BP or CL. Especially if their reviews are under 7's.  With LE being hot lately, no way is that a quality reference from an established provider.  Not to joke, but before I got Kimberly my personal assistant, I did your long route... Talked to him for about a week b4 seeing him... now I have a stauker! And those of you who have called for a reference for him, Kimmy says that quick doesn't she?! LOL. He's my only 1.
But anyway... You kinda leading him down the trap aisle.  If he isn't already LE, he needs to do a P411 or DC or heck go to an agency.  Our top 3 will drill him accordingly and then he'll have a great reference, an agency.  I can name 25 hot girls (8's & up) who will take an agency reference.  I know some of yawl don't & I get that.  But I came from ER so I have no issues with the top 3 agencies here at all.
As I said before, I adore ya, but no job & no references, he has no real options. Don't be mad at me... Kisses all over ur sexy ass!

I found a girl that does FBSM and actually talked to her and she seemed cool.  Some red flags though:
She only has 2 reviews and is 19.  I read on the forums that younger is riskier. She's also only doing outcalls right now at a hotel i think, but will do incalls this weekend. Also she didn't really seem to have a screening policy.  She just said "just call back and lets set something up". As LivNSyn mentioned, "LE seems to be hot right now".  THAT scares me.  Maybe back off and go with an agency?  Not so sure about p411, unless enough of the top girls will accept that

They have certain criteria which you don't have.  You also need "okays" on P411 which you don't have.   You are sol if you ask me.  Also some here think you are LE.  Not good for you.

Yes, girls from the lowest to highest can be found on BP or CL and there is nothing wrong with posting there--I do from time to time.  Stalking can happen from the lowest creep to the highest and most well paid (I've had it happen with a well-to-do ex as well).  

Screening methods vary and at the end of the day it is best for a newbie to go to the national route than any other.

You have the okays to back it up.  I suggest agency route.  I gladly take references from agencies.  However, if you are unemployed you might consider saving your money.  Might not know when a job is going to come around.
