Since 2016 is most definitely THE year I finally get in really good shape it makes me think about opportunities for more interesting and/or exotic sex positions.  And I thought it might be a good topic for discussion.

Gents:  What positions do you like and why?  How many do you usually try in a session?  Do you always use the same ones or do you like to try new ones?  Where do you find inspiration?  What's the most interesting or challenging you've tried? (or would like to try?).

I haven't tried any standing positions (where I was supporting the weight of the girl) since I was a young buck.  Even then it got tiring pretty quickly.  I like that one in your link, it looks like she can support some of her weight, which would help with fatigue.

I know what you mean about face to face.  I think that is hot too.  I like to dfk and see the woman's expression.  I rely pretty heavily on the holy trinity - mish, cowgirl, and doggie.  Those three seem always on the menu and have enough variations to keep them interesting.  I also like to try at least one new thing every time, though.  It could be a new position, a new scenario, or just doing it someplace different - like on a chair, couch, or ottoman instead of the bed.  I think that spices things up a bit.

That's a good point Tony - passion is very important.  I hate being controlled, and I hate scripted behavior, and I'm pretty sure a woman doesn't want to see it from me either.  That's why I like mixing things up so it doesn't get stale.  Especially with a regular.

a few specific thoughts:

1)  I am a sharer, not a dominator, so I really like to see her face and responses.  Mish and cowgirl seem best for that.

2)  As an ole fart with limitations on flexibility and an instrument of average length, I find adequate penetration difficult in a number of the exotic positions - suspect that's a not-uncommon experience.

3)  Have found several ladies very responsive to variations on lazy dog and surfboard in which their legs are together.  Is (to me) a surprisingly intimate position.

Mish, doggie, and CG in almost any and every session. Lotus is nice too, but only if you have a really good connection with the lady. Also, Sex furniture (wedges, those funky curved sofas, a swing) is fun but are usually variants of the big three I already named. RCG ends up with the lady trying to lay back toward me and that has 'broken' me on more than one occasion.

Yes, we definitely don't want any broken body parts - especially in the nether regions.  I have heard of such things.  The closest I ever came was during a heated asian cowgirl session - my piston misaligned with her cylinder and I almost threw a rod.
