So I see the time and dates on post. The time has always been off but my question is, why are some of the date/times in red and some in black? Means nothing really but I was just curious

One of the former mods posted the answer to this on another board. It has to do with when the post was made and from back when mods had to check things. Time and date in bold Black to begin with then in red after a certain number of hours and then back to black not bold after a certain number of hours. It helped the mods know what needed checking. That may not be exactly right but you get the general idea. People posting later replies within replies is why sometimes there is one red within many black times/dates.

The question had been asked hundreds of times on many different boards, and while there was lots of speculation, there never seemed to be a conclusion, and no one from TER officially ansewred. The following post was the first time I remember seeing an answer that made sense and seemed official.

for years, I lived with the posts being 6 hours off. I thought it was a system server issue being overseas or something. I had the time zone set at GMT and never knew to change it.

Well TY HS. I did not know that! Now I can correct the time. Another mystery solved
