Did you mean name only?  Or, related contact information as well?  As long as it is just a name not to worrry.  If all other info references you like admin contact, etc that's a different story.

you can look up who the registering company is and then contact them.  however, getting them to change that info for you may be a bit harder considering you don't own the domain name.  what you can do though if it's registered in your legal name is prove to them you are the person the site is registered to and then take over that domain name.  usually, for a company, you would need to furnish your business license and address.  for individuals, I don't know if submitting a copy of your drivers license will do the trick.  regardless, you will then own that domain name and then you can have them reset the password, login to their portal and take that info out.  also, since you now own that domain name, you can also change the login password to something you like, making it hard for the person who registered the domain name originally to get this domain back.
