Great topic. Actually I am fond of the two you already mentioned. Here's some of my faves with links.
AC/DC - You shook me all night long. Because - ok not even going to dignify that one with an answer. Because they're f'ing AC/DC of course. LOL.

Sade - Is it a crime? Actually anything by Sade is just excellent sexytime music. She's lovely, talented, mysterious, and she can just slay it with a microphone.

Buddy Guy - Feels like rain. Just an amazing song (John Hiatt). If you've never seen Buddy Guy live - please treat yourself - and welcome to the world of music. Arguably the best guitarists in the world and certainly one of the best entertainers in the world. Taught a little known guitarist named Eric Clapton much of what he knows. If Buddy's sung it then it's already been sung.

Joni Mitchell - A case of you. Just heartwrenching and brilliant. Still holds up over 40 years later. And yes, I am old thank you very much.

Colin Hay - I just don't think I'll ever get over you. The best sad song I've ever heard. Anything by Colin Hay is pretty brilliant though.

Madonna - Love don't live here anymore. Not a big Madonna fan but I thought her remake of the old Rose Royce classic was outstanding.

Rising Appalachia - Swoon. Short, sexy, fantastic imagery. "Dip me in chocolate sauce then lick off all my toes..." I think I'm in love. And these talented sisters are local btw.

Pearl Jam - Black. Man o man. Moving, beautiful lyrics combined with Vedder's passionate delivery. Just a devastating depiction of lost love.
"I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star
In somebody else's sky, but why? Why? why?
Can't it be, can't it be mine...?"
That's how it's done ladies and gentlemen.

And to end on a fun one - pound for pound the best drinking, fighting song ever penned....
The Pogues - If I should fall from the grace with God. It's the f'ing Pogues, come on. I don't care if you're Irish or not - doesnt that song just make you want to start throwing chairs around? No? Well have a few beers let me know then..

Ok, let me go boys...
