By Hook or Crook with the Refs; Whether Wisconsin had a letdown game and could not match the 1980 USA Hockey Team to win the Gold After beating the Soviets (the semifinal game being the only one people seemingly remember); From what my friends tell me, I think Wisconsin got out-coached - easy when Coach K is the opposition. I'd agree that Wisconsin might be a force next year (ala DUKE's loss to UNLV in the 1990 only to come back to win in both '91 and '92 with Laettner, Hill and Hurley). I won $20! I'm no GaG, but considering I watched Zero Basketball on any level this winter (because Hockey is the greatest sport there is).... I'm feeling kinda awesome.

Congratulation on winning $20.00. now Wisconsin choke at the last minute. They let the pressure get to them by leading around the 6 minutes mark and then trailing they forgot how to come back. The refs also had a major hand in the game decision. There is at least around the 5 minutes mark, that the refs miss at least 2 calls. Even, Bo Ryan admit that the refs had a hand in the decision of the game.
Duke, while a good team, shold not won. It might of been a better game with Kentucky. Then I wonder how the refs would do the game.
Anytime I've seen those teams get together it's a rehash pf Laettner's 1992 miracle shot at the end of double OT.

Although the refs made some bad calls against WI, IMO I don't think it would have been enough. Might have, might not have. I hate Basketball, but I got to say that I was pretty upset and let down that they didn't win. I am still upset lol. The major players will not be back next season (they are losing 4 of the strong ones) so I am not sure how next year will pan out. Almost all of the brackets were messed up many rounds ago. I should be lucky that i only had one mistake in my whole bracket (Louisville winning).
I admit, I would not have foreseen Duke as winning out. Great job by the Blue Devils. What I wonder is this, and I welcome comments, what will people say when these guys go pro? A lot of folks jump on John Calipari for his "one and dones" but Coach K will now have some as well. I don't like it, but it is the game now.
