For a new provider that I am interested in, I try three times.

First is a fairly scripted email that has all my contact info as well as references.  I wait a day or two...  

If I do not hear back, I try a second time... asking if additional info may be needed and offer to supply it.  I wait another day or two.

If I do not hear back, the third (and final) email will politely move on.  At that point, all interest is gone and I feel as though the session would not be worth it.  If you do not have the common decency to respond, I do not have the common decency to want to see you.

...I send one request, if I don't get a response in 24 to 48 hours, I move on and put that profile in my excluded folder on P411. I've learned that the gals who truly want my business respond promptly. The ones who don't aren't worth chasing after.

But I at least try to use it in some kind of context and I also try to give credit to the person who I believe said it here first, a certain ex moderator that moderated this very board AND was my co mod on a half a dozen other different boards.

It's a great saying, but one should give credit where credit is due.

And don't let a few bad apples spoil the fun.  There are lots and lots of amazing girls in this town that would be happy to see you coming.  Or cumming.  

Between us gents - I tend to think of these interactions as a casting call, an audition (by invitation) for a new regular.  If she doesn't want to audition for you, it's totally up to her.  It's her decision.  Perhaps she's got enough work already (a nice problem to have), perhaps she doesn't have great communication skills, perhaps she had some kind of emergency, or perhaps she just doesn't want to be in your "play."  Who knows and you'll never find out, so why worry about it?

There are many hungry, eager actresses dying to get a break.  I can assure you of that.  And the ones that are too busy or not considerate enough to contact you with a reply - well, life is funny in that regard.  It's called karma, or reversal of fortune.  Just when you think you have something locked in you slack a bit and someone new enters the playing field that is slighly more ambitious and works that little bit harder.  And one day you look around and find much of your business has gone elsewhere.  It happens in every industry.  Each time you interact with a client (or potential clent) you need to make sure (to the best of your ability) they will come back to see you.

I will share an interesting personal example though - just something to think about.  I had been seeing a girl for about six months regularly and (as far as I knew) we had powerful chemistry and greatly enjoyed each other's company.  I sent her a text to make a date as usual, but didn't get a reply.  Which was very unlike her as she was an excellent communicator and we chatted often.  I tried again a day or two later.  Again nothing.  I had a number of thoughts - that something happened to her or maybe for some reason she didn't want to see me any more.  It worried me a bit that I would never know, but I moved on.  Which was appropriate and the only thing I could do anyway.

Three months (yes months) later.  I received an unexpected email from her.  It said that she had fallen in love and moved to another city to get a fresh start.  She apologized for not contacting me but there was just too much to explain (and she had no obligation to anyway).  But she went on to say she thought about me often and the wonderful times we had.  And that she missed me.  I replied back that I missed her, wished her well in her new adventure, and told her that of course I had no hard feelings.  And that I was relieved in getting her email and knowing that she was healthy and happy.

There was nothing to gain for her when she wrote that letter to me.  She didn't have to do it, there was no obligation to me, she was not only not providing any more, she was in a different city.  So it was just a nice thing to do.  For a friend.  To let me know she was fine and that she thought about me from time to time.

Whenever I get cynical about the hobby I think of her and the magnanimous gesture of that email.  And how hard it must've been to write for her and how much it meant to me.  We're all humans, we do things for our own reasons, and in many cases we don't owe it to anybody to explain those reasons.  Especially where the hobby is concerned and crossing personal boundaries.

So, I give folks the benefit of the doubt as I'll likely never know the reasons why they make the choices they do.

But sometimes, in rare instances, you might get closure.  You might get that unexpected email like I did.  And you might feel really, really humbled and grateful.

It can happen.

A few months back, I sent my refs. to a new provider I was curious to meet.

She replied ," I looked at your reviews and I don't feel we are a good match, Good Luck "

At first, I wanted to ask why she felt we were not a good match, but I simply said "Ok Thanks"

Later, I realized that if I did ask why, that could viewed as begging for pussy .

Actually , I have more respect for the provider being honest about her taste, which helped us avoid a bum session.  

Like one Gent mentioned above, Atlanta has A great variety of wonderful providers.
So, I'm happy to say I have found a couple new providers that are now part of my top five rotation.

A few years back she no showed on me twice. These were appointments made well in advance and confirmed the night before. I figured a regular client popped up and she decided to take care of him instead of an unknown.   But I also decided I wasn't going to go through that again.  
The first time I had enough cash in my pocket to go buy a nice iPad at the Apple Store. The second time I bought a new stainless steel dishwasher at Home Depot.

I had the same experience with Dana Milan. Made the appointment at least a week in advance and when I confirmed the day before the appointment I received a stock email that she was out of town. I never tried to schedule another appointment.
