Anyone who meets the following requirements and is willing to help TER with new regional boards coming online soon, among other new boards along with help on some existing boards please email me at [email protected], subject: New Moderator. Please include your username in the email also.

Moderators Tasks:

1- Actively monitor their assigned board or boards.

2- Reads the messages in queue and posts or denies them.

3-  Pulls messages which they find inappropriate/ trouble making or in violation of TER policies.

4- Answers members' questions regarding message boards or has the user contact TER Customer Support for any questions not pertaining to the discussion boards.

5 - Keeps the drama off the boards.  Makes the boards an exciting and inviting place for hobbyists and providers by starting fun and informative threads.


Benefits of being a moderator:

1- Free VIP status.

2- Access to the moderators private board for exchanging information with other moderators.

3- Receiving fast support and accurate responses to your questions from TER's administration via PM, which is only available to moderators. AKA  Access to yours truly...the infamous Board Admin.

Please remember:

A TER moderator is more than a title. It is the proof that you have earned our trust by being a loyal, supportive, and valuable contributor to this site and community as a respectful hobbyist.


The requirements:

1- You need to be a hobbyist ( sorry ladies for obvious reasons providers cannot become a moderator ).

2- You need to be a member of TER for a minimum of 5 years with a great posting history on the boards.

3- You need to spend a minimum of 3 hours a day on the boards.

4- You have to be impartial, have great patience, and be a fair judge when it comes down to resolving cat-fights or stopping the white knights from taking sides and shilling for their ATFs.

5- You need to have enough free time to answer all the PMs that you receive from members.

6- The boards’ policies are for all, including you. Therefore you are expected to follow all of our message board rules.

7- As a moderator you are trusted with our members’ identity under their aliases. Outing someone's alias to other members, in private or public, will result in your banishment from TER.

8- Asking for favors from ladies (discount/freebie etc..) is strictly prohibited and will be reported to me by the ladies. Abuse of your title will result in your immediate banishment from TER.

9- You have no problem with losing your review posting privilege. Moderators are not allowed to post reviews or mini reviews. Reviews that were submitted before becoming a moderator will remain posted, but moderators will not be able to post new reviews unless they resign.


I will respond to the users we are interested in bringing on board as a new moderator in the next week if not few days. Due to the volume of emails I receive I will not be answering all emails. Your understanding is appreciated.

Just to be clear, Admin isn't specifically looking for an Atlanta mod, although replacing DL is on the list.  There's a need for several new mods to cover existing and planned boards.  I'm not trying to discourage anyone, just letting folks know that a person from Atlanta would most likely end up with a different board.  Matter of fact, I've got one "for sale", lol.

Gotta few more to go...lol!

And yes, shit taking is not something I'm fond of.

That this Mod whomever you chose to please not be from ATL.. Theres too much riggamaroll that can be done and favors and what not.Discounts wanted or needed in this economy where many are not working and things are tight... My personal opinion is that The mods shouldnt be from the city that they mod. Especially when theyre personal friends with many of the posters..Alias's will be revealed especially if the Mod hates alias's. I would hope that you go through this persons history and see if theyre a White Knight for this agency or that independant... I know that ATL is the "drama board" Ive heard that from more than 1 mod.. So the behind the scenes stuff that can happen here is a danger and unfair if the wrong person is chosen but Im sure that you already know this so hopefully Im just preaching to the choir

I've gotten a couple of emails asking me to look into this moderator thing. Thanks, but no thanks. I have enough problems without adding any more drama.
Plus, I'd hate to moderate myself.
For what it's worth, I think DL did a good job. We had a difference of opinion a few times. We just agreed to disagree on those occassions.
I've never understood what is and what isn't a shill. It appears that sometimes it just depends on who is getting shilled. I'm kind of like my friend PR and like to comment when a sexy lady post a great picture. But, I guess that's an argument  for another day.

somethin about  ... you. you just smell upright and honest so, I totaly could see you as mod I completly understand not wanting to, its a hard job and time must be dedicated..Then theres the truckload of drama and more info than you ever wanted lol.. could turn ya off to hobbying!  And that I would not want at all

I do consider myself honest. I've always believed in treating others like I want to be treated. You say I smell upright....reminds me of a funny story. I was wearing Brut cologne years ago. A very pretty young lady told me "you smell good, what do you have on? " I replied a hard, but I didnt' know you could smell it.

But I know how to make it so, lol.

Thanls for the kind remarks. I am sure admin will find us a great mod. PT is correct about past abuses by mods. Some have been to close to manipulative  owners and indiaes and have loxt their crediblity. I believe admin keeps a closer eye on such.things.
