I do know most providers like to stick together, so yes, a lot of them hang out and stuff. It's great to have a friend in the business who experiences the same things as you. As opposed to someone who doesn't work in the hobby.
Like Miss Stina up there, I'm pretty new as well so I have yet to form friendships with many ladies. Plus, I'm a student, so most of the time, I haven't had any time to even form friendships. But I keep associates!
As far as friends outside of the Hobby. I literally have one friend. She knows and is very nonjudgmental. I can tell my bestie anything! As far as my associates go. Frankly, it's none of their business.
My mommy is a whoooooole different story. I haven't told her directly, but I really get the feeling she knows, or has an idea. The funny thing is, I really don't think she wants to know for sure. She would die! lol I'm the baby of all my siblings so she worries about her little ladybug. I choose not to tell her because she tends to beat herself up over things and she'd be more disappointed in herself than me. She doesn't see it in a way that this is my life and is a choice. She sees it as something she failed at.
So yea, it's weird with her and I, but she's just happy that I keep a good head on my shoulders and is still holding an "A" average in school, and is using "whatever I do" as a stepping stone and not a career.
Stina, you're so lucky!!!!
