I see a lot of posts about providers hanging out together. Are a lot of providers friends with each other, outside of "work"?

Sorry, I thought this was a discussion board.

My friends know what I do for a living.  All of them.  Just a life choice for me.  I don't want to live my life hiding what I do.  Luckily they are pretty much all supportive!

I have the right to remain silent, not the ability.....

If you ever wonder why these isn't much participation on these boards, you guys are being great examples.

I think Steveishe is truly fascinated by a woman's ability to compartmentalism their lives and means no harm.

Cuz these questions are easy to answer without asking. Blurred face, usually means that what she does is a secret. Face shows, usually means everyone knows.  
I mean"providers" are people too what the hell do you think dude. The discussion doesnt happen because it is as if you think these ladies are robots and dont have real lifes

I can appreciate a well thought out question that doesn't intrude on the personal lives of others.

I'm still kinda new, so I haven't made any close provider friends yet. I'm sure I will though, lots of really nice ladies in Atlanta.

Some of my dearest friends are Tantrikas. We study and practice together, sharing wisdom and knowledge.

They might not be topics you're interested in (maybe boob and ass pics would be better?), but why do you care what he asks?

These are questions a Grad student asks when writing a paper on sexual deviation, such as hobbying.

Because I got out of the hobby for 6 years. Was that so hard?

I do know most providers like to stick together, so yes, a lot of them hang out and stuff. It's great to have a friend in the business who experiences the same things as you. As opposed to someone who doesn't work in the hobby.

Remember, there is always that one newbie that just may be scared to ask a certain question. This may have been one of them.

but I am rarely rude to the newbies. I save my rudedness for guys (and girls) who have been here a long time and should know better.

Or the posters who REALLY deserve it, like AnnoyingFungus who is quite easily the grumpiest poster on all of TER.lol

It might pop my bubble, so I don't know.

but, it's nice to have that openness. I like the safety aspect of it because she always knows where I am and who I'm with. She bought condoms for me once when she was grocery shopping because they were on sale. It was kinda weird. She said it was worth it to see the look on the cashier's face. They were Magnums. My mom is a free love feminist type that believes women should have sex as much as we like with however many men we like and getting paid is just a plus as long as we're having a good time. I do, and I believe the same now.

But as long as she knows I'm safe, happy, and not falling into bad habits or bad crowds, she would be content with that and that only. If I knew she wouldn't be so hard on herself, I more than likely would've told her already.  

Keep all the notes you want sweetheart...My well being doesn't depend on it.  

My dad would probably feel the same way. Fortunately he's 3000 miles away, so it's a little easier to hide.

I wasn't calling him a newbie. I was referring to the fact that there may be other newbies on the board who are probably wanting to ask the same questions, but are afraid to. There for it is actually helpful to them as well as the board.

Besides the encouragement for you to do more research (which sounds like a great idea) what mmale and the airman are reflecting is the kinda creepy, voyeuristic, free cyber, peculiar little cries for help, embedded in the body of some of Stevie's stranger posts.
