Considering that the platform is in a bit of a death spiral, if it should go belly up, what service would you consider using instead?

You're betting against Musk?

Not entirely, just curious what the providers might be considering instead if twitter.

It seems to be going just fine at twitter... I have not noticed anything different other than people talking about it.  Mostly people mad a Musk think it is in a death spiral and those who don't care seem to be business as usual.

I've not used it for hobbying.  How do I go about finding my options on Twitter.

I wouldn't overthink the situation. Mush isn't going to let $44B go down the drain, and neither will his creditors. He'll end up hiring someone, who knows what they're doing. Until then, my advice is "not to cross that bridge unless we come to it".

One way would be to type a provider's name in the search bar. Then you can see her followers/who she follows as well as who she interacts with. Any provider should have some contact info and/or links to her website somewhere on her page. Some ladies probably have their profiles listed somewhere on their TER profiles.

Twitter goes as the major Advertisers go.  They pay and come for all of us that utilize the platform. If they start bailing,  then that's a problem.  Wouldn't be the first time Billionaire to run something into the ground.  The difference is he can afford it.  

LOL! Literally just had a conversation about this.  A lot of providers talk trash about TER and other boards BUT if Twitter goes they will probably all be running to engage here. I recently made a private IG so my Twitter friends can follow me there in the event we lose Twitter...

It's great you have your own IG presence. The advantage of Twitter is it's a single source hosting a lot of interesting and infamous people. When people leave Twitter, they typically take a hit in followers. It happened to Trump when he was banned on Twitter, and he created/migrated to Truth Social. The latest rumblings are Musk is planning to reinstate most of the people who were banned.

Dont think twitter is going to do anything but grow.  Seems like its more open than most other social media, most appreciate free speech, whether they admit it or not.
