I am a little new but have been here a few months. I got a email asking about  an appointment and  asking for a special. Meaning a special price. Was he just being a good shopper or should I be   insulted  because he thought my price was to high?  My rate is $250

Sweetie stick with your rates, there are those that are always looking for bargains.  You need to set your rates, not the client. My rates are on the higher side and I certainly understand if there are those that do not want to pay them, but I believe I am worth what I charge for my time and so should you.

Let them ask. You always have the option of saying NO to  a request for a discount rate.     We say how much, we say who, we say  when.... hold on a second,  wasn't that in a movie... LMAO

Just the nature of any buisness. Why pay full price when ya can chew em down ?

If you believe your price is right, then hold to it.

Who are you?  Do you have a website?   I agree with the others.  A donation is something that you must be happy with.  If not, your heart won't be into the session.  

The reverse situation happens too us too.  The Brazlian ladies ask for more money once you are already into a session.  It's a huge turnoff (instant deflation!) and makes me very uncomfortable.  If I refuse the "upgrade" and it happens anyway, then I feel like I just ripped someone off and it shouldn't feel that way.  I wish I could just make a donation and then enjoy whatever happens.

This 'hobby' is the perfect example of capitalism!  If you have enough customers paying $250/hour for your time and talents to make the kind of income you want to make then your pricing and level of service are good.  If you are sitting around waiting for your phone to ring then your prices are either to high or your level of service is to low - or you may be an "undiscovered talent".

There are several posts on this board regarding pricing, but I think most of us agree that the price range for a FS session is $200-300 for an attractive provider with good reviews.  B2B sessions are usually $100-200.

These message boards provide a wealth of information to both hobbyist and providers and I do not think that you should be offended by someone asking if you offer 'specials'.  A lot of girls will offer 'specials' when they are just getting started as a way to build their reputation.  Also, offering a 'special' to a respected poster who will write an HONEST review of your session could be the best advertising $ you have ever spent!  If you turn out to be an outstanding provider then you will have more regular customers than you can handle.

BTW - if you do decide to offer a 'special' please let me know - I am always looking for a bargin and to help out new providers!!!  LOL

The gents will pay for quality, and I truly believe $250 is a bargain, unless your performance is under par...

Sooner or later, you will be known more on the boards, and you can determine if your rates are consistent with your service, performance...Looks I believe are relative to a gent's point of view...

we the hobbyists have a choice to vote with our wallets.

For years I paid top dollar to participate in this hobby. Not anymore, there are several providers that I see regularly for between $100-$150. I still receive emails, phonecalls from the HDH(high dollar hottie's)I used to see, asking if I'm still around.

Folks do your research there are alot of hidden LDH's(low dollar hotties) out there. I'm always on the look out for LDH's to add to my roladex. I will not see anyone charging less than $100 or see any  SW(street workers)it's just not my for me.

Well, it might not break the bank, but I sure ain't a bargain either.
I agree with a couple of guys on this thread, there are plenty of quality ladies here in Atlanta for a lot less than 250.00. I guess it's all about how one defines quality, i.e, what we as gents really want from the encounter. Everybody's different.

Should you be insulted? No! Men who want to see you but cannot afford your donation will usually ask you to remember them if you ever run a special. You have here a pretty fair consensus of what various Providers and Hobbyists think & some good responses. There are plenty of Hobbyists willing to pay $250+ and, as a few Hobbyists have pointed out, plenty of quality ladies who charge less. So everyone should be happy.

As long as you have plenty of business do not worry.
