My topic of last week was pulled by a moderator. After some thought on it, I can understand their thinking. Let me try again this week.  My topic this week is, what has became your preference agency or independent?  Why?

Since returning to the hobby, I have done eight bookings since late January.  Yeah, I have written only one posted review and I need to get the rest posted -lol.  Anyway, five have been done through an agency, three with one agency alone,  and the remaining three were independent ladies. IMO here is what I see as some of pros and cons of each.

With an agency, at some point, they come to know you.  Even years ago, when very active in London, my agency contact could recommend someone. Rarely did that miss.  Also, after they know you, you can talk though what you are trying to accomplish. They are there to help.  The major con is you are limited to what they have available.  For some the price difference is a con.  To me, not really.

Independents offer some advantages.  First, her reputation is on the line.  Like any provider that does makes a difference. The major plus is the ability to accomplish a certain dress request.  That never seems to come across with an agency. Also, while you find good looking ladies with both, to some one seems to "step up in class" with some indies.  An example. I recently attended the Atlanta M&G and saw an indie enter the room in a dress that showed the best pair of legs that I have seen in sometime.  Seriously. She was nice enough to follow up our very very brief conversation with a PM here.  It was perhaps better that our conversation was very brief.  In a conversation there, I would have been impolite in while that she was talking I would be losing attention to her conversation while trying to look up her skirt. Seriously, she has legs.  Imagine the carnage if you will, her slapping my face with great vigor while saying "eyes up, eyes up".  I will have to step up my game if I want to book with that one.  Worth it I would think.  Indies provide a wider range of looks and to many offer a better time.  

Gentlemen, what is your preference, agency or lindie? Ladies, I know there are some opinions out there among you, so lets please hear them.

at the moment. To me the agency scene was better two years ago, although my opinion could change in time. And thanks to Iowa state and Baylor my bracket is all fucked up lol

For me the order of sequence is 1) are the photos an accurate reflection of who I will meet 2) the TER review rating and 3) the donation; whether the model is with an agency or is independent has not been a major consideration in my 12 years in the hobby. Some agencies have good customer service and some do not; some agencies mess with the photos and some do not; some agencies offer specials and some do not; some agencies have a higher donation than other agencies; I have had great experiences with both and I have had some poor experiences with both; with an agency you would expect an easier time to obtain a concession where there is less then good outcome although some agencies do not seem to understand that when they fuck over a client they are impairing their business.

so far, I have only seen indies.  

Well, that is subjective as I've seen some 'indies' that have someone else handling their screening, scheduling and all communication.  And this person handles these things for several ladies, so even though not technically an agency, it feels kinda like a UTR agency.  This is not a complaint at all as each of these experiences have been great.  Several I have repeated with or plan a return visit.  

Now, I have been screened and cleared by several of the recommened agencies, but just have not scheduled yet.  I've tried a few times, but scheduling with the specific lady I was interested in did not work out that particular day.  

I have to say that for a guy that has yet to spend a dime at an agency, the ones I've communiated with (and you know who you are) have been great.  The communication and recommendations have been excellent.  I have a few agency ladies on my radar (one in particular thanks to LayDownSally) and I will eventually meet them.  

I've had nothing but great experiences with Atlanta's independent ladies, but I'm not opposed to agencies.  In fact, several of the indie ladies I've seen used to be with an agency.  I like to plan ahead and never make same day appointments.  I guess if the situation arises and I want to make a same day appointment, the agencies I've already been screened and cleared with would be the way to go.

Oh and my bracket is fucked.  But the weather was great today and I'm  currently sipping on a glass on Woodford Reserve.

I had tried both and indy are better because of the fact about established a connection Between the two of you. However, there are benefits with agency such as wait time and last minute appointments. There are some good agency. I tried exotic flavors which sunny owns and it is a very good agency. Now I heard that SEC and gold club are good as well but haven't tried them at all. However, it is your preference.

Those are all good agencies. I would add JFL. I have used them and they work to help you, the girls are very fine GFE's.

My bracket isn't holding up as good. Everything is on the unc and Arkansas game. I really don't know lol. How about your bracket?

Busted. I picked Providence to go to the Final Four.  I know, I know, I can a hear a Redd Foxx voice saying "you big dummy".

But I'm biased.

But seriously-I see the benefits of both. From the client point of view with agencies: you only have to screen once, you can have last-minute flings, with a good relationship your agency can tailor the ladies they send your way to your tastes, and you can use a credit card. With Indies: you (usually) get to communicate with your prospective date as much as you want beforehand to establish a connection (as another gentleman pointed out), you can see her again and again because she's more likely to be in this for a longer period than an agency lady, she has her own website (usually), so you can see more of her personality, and as you're (usually) dealing with the lady herself, you can plan out your encounters directly with her without a go-between.  

I'm an indy because I love establishing relationships with the gents I see. Showing up to meet someone with whom I've had no communication is just too impersonal for my tastes. And I want to be pursued by my gents- I want the men who contact me to wish to see me specifically- not just any random voluptuous blonde who can be there at such-and-such a time.

For the 22nd count me in, yes, yes, yes.

There are several great indys in Atlanta. I do use more agencies then indys. The reason is that due to my work schedule it is hard to plan three days out. I can text or email an agency and they can always send a lady to me within 3 hours.

In full disclosure I'm a relative newb with agencies as almost all of my experiences have been indie based.  So factor that into my opinion.  Most of the high points have already been covered, but I'll sum up my thoughts...

Indie upsides - great for developing personal, long term relationships.  Optimized for building the whole GFE type fantasy.  Especially if the lady is open to a little e-flirting and chatting from time to time.  Indies are also better for setting up specific scenarios (like role plays) that I happen to be fond of since they require good communication and planning to accomplish.

Indie downsides - scheduling can sometimes be an issue, especially on short notice.  Also setting up threesomes can be a bit of a scheduling challenge.

Agency upsides - great for experiencing diversity with a minimum of hassle.  Good agencies have a wide variety of flavors and colors of the rainbow for you to experience.  Many have good specials and even surprise sessions which add a bit of interesting spontaneity to the mix.  They are good for short notice dates (when your favorite may be booked) so I think they are a good occasional backup plan too.  And if you are into threesomes (who isn't?  LOL) agencies are optimized for that kind of thing.  

Agency downsides - direct communications with the ladies is limited or prohibited for obvious reasons.  Although I have still been able to set up some good role plays with an agency that knows my fondness for them.    Also, I believe the perception is that agencies are a greater target for LE - but I know that is a whole discussion in itself.

The best news is here in Atlanta you have the absolute best of both worlds so you get to choose which suits you best…Seriously, I travel a lot and there is no city (IMHO) that offers the variety, sensualness, and beauty of our lovely ladies here in the A! We are very very lucky guys here….

To answer the question more directly -- both offer different attractiveness..

Indys -- you get to build a relationship with and they are more prepared to be into you totally when you arrive because as one other hobbyist put it in this post -- its their business and reputation -- so for that I love the Indy ladies --  

Agencies -- First, we have some great ladies that take such good car of us at the Agencies when trying to book... - I have found them to be nothing but first class to deal with -- the ladies at the agencies provide such diversity of selection - and they are good when you perhaps didn't plan ahead to have a raging stiff in your pants -- hen the wand" knocks unexpectedly -- I have to feed him -- or he gets a bad attitude -- ha ha but seriously the agencies are fantastic too…

Some of my favorites…in no particular order…(SEC, JFL's, Pink Pleasures, GC, and Exotic…)oh and Heavens Playground hmm did I just name them all? oh boy    

anyway -- thanks ladies for being the best...

I have used agencies years ago. I can't say I ever had a terrible experience. But I enjoy the more personal contact with the independents. Even if they have an Asst. I have still had a more personal relationship with the Lady.Plus the Ladies who match my criteria seem to be more Indy. But I love  them all. We seem to have some very reputable agencies in town. after seeing a few others mention this, I have to agree and add to my comments.  the personal touch when communicating with the indie ladies I've seen has really added to the overall experience.  this is especially true if i know I'm emaling directly with the lady.  most let me know up front if I'm communicating with an assistant or if it's really them.  when emaling and/or texting directly with the lady leading up to seeing them whether it's the first time or a repeat visit, really adds to the overall experience for me.  the buildup and anticipation, especially if our emails/texts are flirty, contribute to the GFE.  

then a post visit email/text saying - 'it was great to see you, I had a great time' - is just gravy on the overall GFE.

I find with agencies

1) You can find someone at your convenience

2) No B&S

3) Plenty of choices with a reputable agencies

My experience with indies is that, they get fickle after two or three visits and starts to act funny
