For me just lowering calories to 1200 or so per day and drinking lots of water helps:)

Need personal trainer

Anyone we can go to gym and start build up again

Also I want to ask is anyone use shots for losing weight

Like ozampic or something

Please don't take Ozempic.  That's basically meth.

Eating clean and as close to nature as possible while being active will help.  Our weight issues, just like our health issues, are from toxins in our food and environment.  Most of what we eat isn't even food.

Please research knowing who owns and funds your sources. This drug is pure evil. You are too good for it.

I totally agree. I’ve heard a lot of doctors and scientists talk about this drug, and the side effects are potentially very bad. It’s just not worth it. There’s a natural way to achieve your goals and it involves some discipline but you can get there.

Happy New Year!
Congrats on your goal, but there's going to have to be a mindset shift.  It's about adopting a way of life and not just reaching an "ideal" weight goal.
While trying to chose a trainer, you can begin by [Yes, these will be small daily commitments:
1. Drinking more water throughout the day
2. Setting a goal of walking every day.  Start small (maybe 5 min) with a goal of 20min - 30min everyday
3. Lite stretching, yoga, or animal flow in the morning (maybe 10 min; max 15min or less)
4. Diet:  Most controversial:  Personally I'm 90%-95% Plant-based (fish and pastries as exceptions) [We discussed this during our session] For references why I chose this:  Read How Not To Die & How Not To Age by Dr. Michael Gregor [NutritionFacts.org]

I'd skip the shots.  They're more of a "quick fix" like the stomach staple craze but with greater harmful side effects.  Besides you're still going to have to make the same diet/exercise changes regardless.

Wish you the best of luck on your health journey.  It's definitely worth the sacrifices & struggles.  A very satisfying journey indeed.

I agree with a lot of what's being recommended in the replies here and once again, stay away from the drugs and their side affects.

And as others have said, you have to adopt a lifestyle change. A high protein, low carb diet is one way. Portion control is critical. Calorie counting is another and that's what I personally do, using an app called LoseIt!. Calories in and calories out - the math works every time. But it can be tedious entering all that every day.

It takes commitment and discipline but once you start losing those first few pounds you'll start to get really motivated and it gets easier.

I wouldn’t take anything to loose weight. I am strictly eating healthier by being conscious of what I’m putting in my body. I love a plant based diet! Working out is a lifestyle. I got an Eos membership & I converted my home into a gym. I want my entire family to be fit & healthy. I go to the gym with my Mom. I train my teenage because he was almost 200lbs & now he’s got muscles 💪🏽 it’s a win win getting healthy.

All you need to do is be mindful. Health = wealth. I changed my mindset to focus on fitness. You have to put in the work to see results. Start today & get that bikini 👙 body for Summer. I’m 46 it’s harder to get weight off, so I do intermediate fasting. I won’t eat until the afternoon. You see results fasting, but make sure your getting protein. You can do it!

I've been on Ozempic for 2 years for my T2 Diabetes & it has helped enormously. But I haven't lost a single pound because of it. I have adjusted my diet away from sweets & fats, etc & exercised. It's thos thongs that have begun to move the needle, not Ozempic. I vote NO

First off, I am no expert, but I have been down this road in the past and have learned some things that have worked for me.

There's no secret.  If you want to lose weight, calories in has to be less than calories out.  How you get there is the challenge.

In a non-scientific summary, Ozempic basically makes you want to eat less.  This can certainly create a calorie deficit and help you to lose weight.  However, early studies show that most people will pack weight back on because they never correct the underlying problem...  lack of exercise, eating too much, eating poorly, etc...

Unless you have a supernatural metabolism, losing weight starts with diet.   Which diet you choose is up to you... low carb, protein rich, low fat, etc...   Find something that you can follow and stick with it.  After that, it's activity (you have to burn those calories somehow).   Start with walking, progress to incline walking or hills, progress to running, add in weights.   Keep track of calories and the weight will start coming off.

Also, two other very important factors... water and sleep.  I can not stress how important it is to stay hydrated and how important it is to get good sleep.  Skimp on these and the results from above slow considerably.

For the first time in months, I'm back on track losing weight. I'm 6'1" and I can carry some extra weight but I was up to 206 and it just doesn't look good on me. My target is around 190.

I do calorie counting using an app called LoseIt! The math doesn't lie and if you burn more calories than you take in the weight loss is guaranteed.

But doing calorie counting won't suit everybody's personality/lifestyle. You have to enter every single caloric event into the app and that can be tedious. And it takes discipline. You have to exercise on a regular basis and carefully choose what and how much you eat and drink. And for a guy like me that enjoys a good dinner and a drink or two it's even more challenging. I work out  every day and typically burn 1200 - 1400 calories doing so. Not everybody can do that, either because they don't want to, don't have the time or whatever. But that's what I have to do to enjoy life and lose weight. But once you get going, you start to believe in it and you're much more willing and motivated to put in the effort.
