So sick of the recent onslaught of little boys trying to play a big boys game.

I understand that in ANY business, you open yourself to cancellations, no shows, last minute demanding customers and anything else in between.
I also know that just by nature of this industry, I'm subject to a few more than I'd expect if I were a hairdresser or nail tech. I get it!

It just seems there are a LOT more in the last several months than in all my years.  I thought it was just me, but seems a few other ladies have shared in my experience.

Is there something going on that I'm naive to? Did I do something? Wtf is happening these days? I have noticed a lot of ladies won't even take appts anymore without a deposit. I can only assume it's because perhaps they've experienced the same issues and are using that method to curtail these behaviors.  

End of story is, I have a "gentleman's" info I'd like to share if anyone is interested. I can't share on here so please email me at [email protected] and I'd love to send you the details.

Any ideas anyone would like to share that may help prevent or lessen these issues from happening, I'd greatly appreciate. 😊

I have only canceled twice with the ladies. But I let the ladies know with more then  a days notice. Once for illnesses, the other for bs drama on a friend front.

Done on another thread. Is there any kind of standard reason given for the cancellation??  I think he should be outed especially if you paid for a hotel room. Just my thoughts.

I post them assholes there and I notify providers who whitelist or give them reference .

When they say "hey I'll contact you at 8", then at 9 they text saying "hey I was at the gym!" Wtf. I am waiting on you; please do not swing by the gym or the grocery store or whatever when you are supposed to be on your way to me. I have a life and it doesn't consist of waiting around in hotels all day.  
Time wasters are in no short supply.

If by "outed" you mean what Mo did by naming him by his handle, yes I can get on board with that especially since i am such an advocate of "naming names" where it comes to reporting NCNS and the like by providers.

 

Unfortunately some of the more zealous members among us might misconstrue your statement as meaning that his "private" information should be revealed and I hope that NOBODY is suggesting something that severe.

 
I want to know which hookers are likely to flake on me, I think it's only fair that the ladies get to have an idea about which johns have a history of flaking on them.

to provider's but most guys don't do deposits, including myself. It's frustrated dealing with time wasters. Providers are time wasters too.  

I've had hookers make me wait. Who knows what they were doing. Maybe cleaning there pussy, putting makeup on or catching their breath. Who knows? But delays are frustrating to everyone.  

I recently gave a provider two light slaps in her face with my cock because she made me wait. She smiled. I thought it was appropriate punishment.

By comparison it is bad on our end to. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve been flaked on lately.  My time has been wasted to the point that I’ve been pretty inactive lately. That, and the fact the recent price hike has taken me out of the market.  I would never complain about a rate. I simply look at it and move along. However, if there is a meeting and agreement, I think flaking should have a spot for reporting on the client side too. Just link an add. Give time and date. A spot for clients to search for time wasters. Nobody’s time is more important than anyone else’s.

I think it's more than just a time issue. For the most part, clients I've seen are coming thru on their lunch break or on the way home from work or the like. Yes, I know some ladies flake, but aside from your drive time, (assuming you have already arrived at chosen location and got stood up), and being let down, I'm not sure what you really lost.

On the flip, as a provider, when an appointment is set, I hold that time for you. I could have many others want that same time or another time that would over lap on your appointment, and I tell them I'm not available because I'm holding that time for you. So when said appointment cancels, not only have I lost that money that I planned on getting for that appointment, but I've lost money from someone who likely would not have flaked.

For us ladies, this is an income, and for those of us that are low volume, it's a big loss to the pocket when someone flakes. Some ladies that see mass volumes of clients aren't maybe as affected because they saw another three or four that day anyway.

In addition, most of us have children that need childcare etc for us to be available for appts. So not only do we have to coordinate that, but also pay for it, yet another hassle and loss for nothing. I myself don't have that issue anymore, but there have been many times I've had to cancel plans or not take my child where he needs to be because I have an appointment come up, and to have it cancel or flake really sucks.  
Then there's the hotel cost. It super sucks to pay for, drive to, check in, get in the room, get changed etc and invest the time and money into all that just to have the  appt cancel last minute or no call/no show. Not to mention moving around other commitments and obligations to make myself available, and the hour I spend showering, shaving, makeup, hair etc that you don't really consider, and I know most of you guys don't do. (Well hopefully not the makeup part lol).

So, my point was  never who's time is more or less valuable. But overall as providers we have a whole lot more time, money, and effort invested before the appointment even starts. If a girl flakes on you, yeah it sucks and it's super inconsiderate. But if a guy flakes on us, we've put in hours of prep prior to, and for some ladies, could be the difference between making rent or not.

How do you know, the guy is not loosing money? Many of us work from home as contractors and don't have set hours like, let's say 8 to 5.  

In this case, they are making the trip to meet not like you describe.

Granted, No Show up is bad on both sides and there is no excuse for it.

OP, understandably but unfortunately, only laid out the case for the ‘loss’ for the providers.  
It is utterly myopic to say men don’t lose any ‘money’ when a provider cancels... this topic has been discussed many times on various board ... so without writing a long argumentation let me say this:
Time is money for everyone ... and yes it is not a cliche... and this is more so for professionals that can afford hobbying at 350 + price point.

A case was made by OP of losing money on child care and I agree very much it is a shame when a guy cancels and causes such monetary damage. But I know about similar pains on the other side too. I know a hobbyist friend who is in-house care taker of his last living parent ... a part time nurse helps; he drives to atl more than an hour for hobby. So similar to a child care he has to buy extra parent care the day of the hobby ...

This is just one of many examples that both sides are subject to losses in many ways when other party cancels. Playing the cancellation card to garner community support and solution to this ‘problem’ will only lead to more frustration if we do not learn and understand other side’s pain.

Losing resources that you allocated for an experience you didn't get is vastly unlike investing resources with the expectation of income and not getting the income.  It's "utterly myopic" to try to liken one to the other.  I'm surprised anyone needs this explained.  

 
I get it, though.  If someone has a complaint, it's hard not to try to get in on it.  It's not like we're adult or anything.
