Got a letter in the mail a while back that said because I used to have a Bank of America credit card that I was automatisly part of a class action suit. Didn't have to do a thing but wait till the money came.   Well this week I got my check (YEEAAAHHHH).  Not I dont like to complain about free money BUT , when your amount is cut in half because of the POSTAGE to send it you just have to shake your head and wonder what they were thinking.    That's right folks. I got a check in the mail for 46 cents...  wonder how much the atorneys made?   No way I'm going to cash it. I'm having it framed as an example of what is wrong in this country.  I would never have belived this if it hadn't happened to me.

My check for the Citibank class action suit was for 8 cents. I understand the attorneys made about 2 million, dollars, not cents.

Don't you guys know that after all these attorneys get rich, they go into politics so that they can screw us again, and again!

What?  LOL  Damn!  I feel ripped now!  I got the exact same letter but only got .40!  LOL

Maybe I should just give it to charity and take the writeoff.  I know, more sarcasm.

I guess class action lawsuits have their place, but whenever lawyers get involved in anything, everybody loses something, even the lawyer's own clients.  Don't get me started on how I feel about the esteemed legal profession.

I remember when Eastern Airlines went bankrupt, and the attorneys got paid well while the creditors lost BIG TIME!

Typically it's the lawyers who get the most financial reward.
