and taught us providers of today, on how to screen/verify, use references, and taught us the in's and out's of this business. I still remember when I first started, and being wet behind the ears, when a friendly provider out of the blue, taught me how to screen/verify/the use of references. Sadly, this lovely woman retired about a year ago, but there is still not a day when I don't think about how she became my "big sis", and watched over me like a hawk.

I know for many of you providers who are out here, may have had that one special friend, who was there for you, right from the beginning, guiding you along the way. Remember to say thanks to them, for without them where would we be? Still wet behind the ears lol

Thank you to those from the past, present, and especially to those of the future! We providers should always remember how it was for us, at the beginning, and reach out, and help a new little sister, who is just starting out Actions do speak louder than words.

For those who are being safe for verifying/screening, and providing references to those in need, a BIG THANK YOU! Keep up the good work, and never get discouraged, by the naysayers. You are making a big difference

Thank you for posting this thread. I am not new to the hobby just to the TER community. There is alot of support to both providers and hobbyist. I wish I had great ideas to make things easier for both but I don't.

Please let us all us this forum to be positive, honest, and caring for each other.

I am just learning but I already have ideas of my own but I hesitate to post much because I know I have alot more to learn.

Sometimes when we help and encourage we just end up getting lied to and stabbed in the back.. thank you so much for writing this and showing me that there are some people who do appreciate it when you just wanna be a friend and help..

Yeah, MUCH different than when I started partaking...in 1979.

"Actions do speak louder than words"...

Sometimes actions speak SO LOUD that you can't even hear what someone is saying.

As a newbie, I'm quite thankful to those who have created this site, the providers who share their thoughts & the hobbyists who have stepped out of the comfort zone to make this more rewarding for everyone involved. I feel much more confident in my choices due to the regulars here. Just thought I'd let you know that there are some of us who do read & learn from others.
