... IMO, ATL, seems to be a little slow for the hobby during a holiday, but it seems to pick up a few days after.  YMMV  lol

Yes YMMV in Atlanta during the summer and holiday weekends.  I would say Atlanta is very much like DC--hit or miss during such times but know that the gentlemen of Atlanta will certainly show you what southern hospitality is all about!
